Are the gods angered?
Admin moved NYX's reply to the advertisers board and then some member responded or the admin saw the quote attached and got annoyed. Now everyone is apparently on notice about posting to the advertiser board.
When the admins kill me off, me please be kind and place a silver dollar in my mouth so I can pay Charon. :=)
Nyx posted a response to these comments regarding the name choice, but for some reason it was moved to the ads thread.

I had actually suggested one of the Aztec, Mayan, or Incan, goddesses considering her heritage. But Nyx said she has enough problems with some of you guys having issues pronouncing her goddesses names as it is. So my suggestion of Xochiquetzal was overruled.
Stay safe, and happy hunting.
Stay safe, and happy hunting.
Yea, for those that don't know I'm sure it may sound mysterious or wierd. For those that do know though (and I still bear hope beyond hope that they are in the majority) it does sound a bit odd. Medea was beautiful too before she killed her children and after, and this name is still sometimes used in Greece too but I'd still think that if a provider would be named Medea, that would make me wonder a bit about her sanity and I'd probably move on just for that reason. I mean if you really want to use Greek mythology, there are plenty other less controversial female characters, like Calypso or Aella or pick one of the muses or any of the graces of Zeus or something.
Also, 'medusa' in many languages means jelly-fish, for obvious reasons (think about its looks) , which is also a dubious hint. It's only a matter of time before one of her 'well-wishing' friends or clients (and of them you know that there are plenty) would bring her attention to all of this and, knowing working girls, at that point she will likely suspect you of some ulterior motive. I'd change her name to something with less negative baggage. Really.

That being said it's always bad juju for members to post in the provider threads.

Most of the girls actually pick their own names, my only stipulation is that it's a name from mythology (any mythology) to keep the common theme.

Medea is associated with Jason the Argonaut. See the opera by Cherubini.
Medusa was beheaded by Perseus.
You are correct about the jellyfish (Medusa in Italian).

Galileoxx
And in about 500 other languages too, including every Latin language save Romanian and all Slavic ones. What surprises me the most that it is also that in Portuguese and she was fine with it. I wonder if she is really Brazilian or if she is Brazilian-American which is like two world apart.

Medusa
Why would a beautiful girl use the name "Medusa" in this business?
For those that haven't thought about Greek Mythology since middle school, Medusa was the a female monster. She had snakes for hair and a face so hideous it would turn anyone that looked directly at her to stone. She was beheaded by "Perseus" who used his shield as a mirror so that he could see her without being turned to stone.
Looking at the picture of Nyx's Medusa, I think she would easily turn a certain part of me to stone.

You were kidding, right? Please tell me you were NOT serious when you were discussing the ramifications and significance of a lady choosing the name Medea? Ehh, this is USA Sex Guide forum, right?

Anyone try this, or taken the plunge?
Usually new girls every few weeks, advertised on eros. Com.
It seems well organized, and price tag reasonable for what looks to be offered.

Venus
Hooked up with Venus yesterday for a new shoot. It was just a quick one, as it was way too hot outside, but it was the only time our schedules matched up. Hope you all enjoy this little sample.
Stay safe, and happy hunting.

June, Love?
I tried but I just up on the screening process. The asked for your work phone number and two references from other providers.
