I doubt they imaged your phones or anything, but you are definitely on their list now, and we should all be aware of that and be careful. You left us hanging and tried to cover it up, which basically means anything you say now is just intended to minimize that fact and get your revenue engine going again.

The phone I am have left has never been used in this business. It actually is through Sprint is not a prepaid and I have had it for a very long time. Moving and trying to get rid of things. Moving into my own house soon and don't want to move a lot of unnecessary stuff. Yet again I have never and never will put anyone in harm. But for some reason you have never met me but still can't drop this. No one I have seen or see has ever been in any harm of getting in trouble. I've never seen VelvetRayne and know nothing about her except what is posted on here, but if I did buy a phone from her and Cincinnati police or any other law enforcement agency knocked on my door questioning me over a phone I bought from somebody I would be really pissed. I don't know what the VelvetRayne controversy is all about but unless it involves high level felonies I'm sure Cincinnati police have other things to do than track her used cell phones. Buying selling trading phones is very common, it's all over eBay and Craigslist, this is what I was told by my ATT provider after I sold a phone on eBay, after we fulfilled a 2 yr contract we was given free iphone 5's to sign another contract, when I was inside the ATT store getting the new iphone 5's, they took my iphone 4 an removed my old SIM card, they reset the phone to factory settings, and said (okay it ready!) I asked "that's it!?

He explained on APPLE phones it is IMPOSSIBLE to get any of my old enough, he said the phone should be sold as. USED APPLE IPHOBE4, an when it sells they will buy their own SIM CARD for $25 an get it registered under their own network, Now ANDROID is WAY DIFFERENT! As for the police having someone's phone for 48 hrs, So out the pure interest of how this happens, I'm told by a retiree, when someone is detained or held or charged, when someone is found with an OD of drugs or etc. The phone and ALL NUMBERS are taken down and put in a file, these numbers are investigated and when info if available is assigned to each number, this info is logged into a file, later when stings are done, they cross check the numbers and see if this person has been in another handlers phone contacts as well, if number and info match and he's picked up on a sting, that builds a better case against the John.

As for (cloning phones) he said the only time they will invest money into cloning phones, is when murders or drug trafficking or human trafficking is suspected, not just minor things like typical handlers, they won't invest that much money into doing that unless there is more than typical prostitution suspected. He said if the girl OD and past away? You can bet his phone info and numbers was taken. He also said the department has computer systems they hook the phones up to an it will override any code or finger print set up.

Google the # of the phone and all is revealed. Thats a pretty good start for LEO knowing enough to be alerted to possible suspicious activity. The girl being under 21 but over 18 makes it her problem for the PI. If possession of the phone or phones "plural" was compromised for any amount of time, any person texting or calling during that event could be under suspicion without even knowing it.

All persons involved would of had personal info recorded and entered into police report. What happened to person described only as being under 21? Jail for PI (non alcohol) Hospital Rehab. Who would expect 100% truth from persons involved in reports of this nature??

The police have a little more to do than go through phones of providers, get a search warrant to get all the numbers, try to figure out which ones are clients, get subpoenas for every single number from every single carrier, and go to those prospective homes to talk to the possible clients to file misdemeanor charges. The point is LEO does not always follow the 4th amendment rules. The main jest of the issue is not LEO following up on every phone number found on a cell phone but logging it to cross reference later to how many times it shows up on other suspicious phones. So if someone would get jammed up and their number shows up on the data base for a number of suspicious persons phones. Explain the way out of that along with the current issue. That extra tracking shows habit not single incident behavior. Closely related is that anyone cruising the routes for SW and LEO gets behind you for a bit most likely your license plate got ran and logged as to time and place for tracking purposes later if you get jammed up (I was stopped in a hot zone and then given this info by a CPD a long time ago so it is probably worse with the license plate cameras on the cars) - again to add to the single issue, explain being in this area a number of times as well. If you think all of our local uncles are honest and forthright, keep drinking the kool-aid. Look what Philly is going through right now and the number of convictions being tossed out from crooked cops. Keep it real. T69.

This would not be a place I'd look to buy a phone. There's always eBay, Craigslist, Walmart. It's also not the place I'd look to sell a phone (see those other options above).

There was a time I wouldn't think LEO would try crap like this. This is not that time. It's pretty clear that the federal human-trafficking investigation has put a lot of spare money and attention into this region. Arrests are up in all areas. Looks like around 20 just in Hamilton County over the past 45 days, 15 SWs and 5 or so SW mongers. But on the other end of the spectrum, they've gone so far as to do all the complicated arrangements -- and expense -- it takes to arrest a provider on one of the sugarbaby sites. That one got pleaded down to nothing, and she went right back to work, but it shows how much time and money they're willing to waste.

Rather than trust my ability to wipe all possible ways of LEO tracing communications from a used phone I'd acquire, why not just acquire one from another source?

I think the whole concept of a burner phone is to use it and discard it where it will never be found by LEO. Even if you think you've wiped it clean, why would you then turn around and advertise it for sale on a site like this?

Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on what happened as well, particularly with the girl that was involved. And it was "phones" (plural).

Anyway, I'm going to stop talking about this one. I've said my piece and responded to a lot of PM's regarding what actually took place. But this is now what we used to call "overtaken by events" in the military. Meaning it's old news and things have moved on.

To anyone that's PM'd me asking for the "proof" of this incident, sorry but I'm not planning to do that. Providing those details would probably provide the opportunity to get the real identities of the parties involved and I'm not going to contribute to it unless Steve comes here and says it never happened. Steve has communicated to me via PM and I do think he's trying to make things safer. It's up to you guys regarding what you want to do going forward.

Speaking for myself, I'm going to give it a little time to see how it goes, but that new chick Andee almost has me throwing caution to the wind!
