i also would like to add i have seen these statistics as well and they are largely skewed to the direction of making this town looking like it is worse than reality. we are dealing with a large amount of this because of the recent busts and the titles of these people who were busted within the last two years. nothing more. they want to make the entire town into a tourist happy destination and having political figures and govt employees getting busted are hurting them look like a friendly safe place to visit and in reality they should be focusing this money and effort in busting more meth houses and guys pushing crack on the street. i for one drive thru a rough part of town on a daily basis when i feel up to working and easily see 3 drug pushers to every street walker and rarely see the dealers being harassed by the police. last month i can think of at least 10 times i had seen a sw talking to a cop (being harassed or perhaps the cop is the pimp, look into that detective!) while only once did i see a person fitting what i figure to be a drug dealer. yes i can spot drug dealers i have driven these roads for a few years know and have a good sense for it and bet 90% of the time i am correct.
