Yes and I want to add that 1 in 2500 is the risk when exposed to an HIV positive person. Obviously if your partner does not have HIV, the chance of getting it is 0. I'll try to summarize what I've said before. Keep in mind .4% of the US population is HIV positive, while close to .1% of the Korean population is HIV positive. It is a sensitive thing to say, but it still to this day overwhelmingly gay and bi men participating in gay sex. 67% of new infections are among gay and bi men, even though they only comprise 5% of the population (keeping in mind half the population are women).
