She has been collecting messages, photos of my car, hotel bill copy, and is demanding $5,000.00. I have actually given her $500 but demands for full amount or will expose to family. If you ignore the threat they could drop a picture into your mailbox (assuming they found your address on the hotel bill or). I'd speak with an attorney. Care to share who the perp is so they can be avoided on SB?

Limit the amount of personal information you give your conquests, and never use your personal number or email to communicate. Good luck.

I am not a lawyer, but I believe that if you have text messages from them doing this extortion, they have committed a Federal crime. It is illegal to use an FCC controlled communication system to attempt extortion.

The internet and a cell phone are both controlled by the FCC. Maybe if your attorney threatens them with going to the FBI with their texts they will back off.

If you know her real name, do a background check. She might have an active warrant, a lot of these ladies do. Agree to meet her to give her some money, but have undercover LE with you to arrest her.

I once had a similar situation and just blocked them and ignored them and they went away. Extortionists are cowards. They prey on the gullible.
