And then sometimes they mention a "special" on their hourly rates. All BS of course. Also. Their pictures tend to be TGTBT or at least of professional level lighting. Being the curious sort I engaged them and found three distinct types:
1) An obviously fake person. Probably Pakistani. Telling me they're "in town" (won't say where) and asking for 1/2 up for for "my safety". Next.
2) This next one was rather impressive, again obviously NOT an escort. But doing the "Hey baby!" and "I'm so horny" etc. Then they start asking for money. Here's the thing. IT'S A BOT! It's actually a machine that analyzes your text and responds (semi) appropriately. I'm guessing enough guys fall for this to make this totally automated approach profitable.
3) And this one was down right scary. I contacted a girl via a phone app. Using a trash number. We talked and set specifics. Then she got mean and started making threats about calling my wife and how her boyfriend is a part of a columbian drug cartel. The next day, I was texted.
