Hit Fig around 9:30 pm Sunday night. Saw what appeared to be a good lookin' bsw walking just north of 126th. This is crack ho' land, but thought I'd catch a peek just to see if she had strayed off course.

Yeah, its slim pickings to be sure, but try around 6-6:45 a.m. on PIGUEROA between Manchester and Century, and occasionally between Century and Imperial. They aren't always there, maybe 3 out of 5 mornings, but they are generally young and very attractive.

Decided to drive down LBB saw a couple BSW dressed decent but still in my eyes around a five. To many LE for me so got to go. So I ended up on Anahiem and Sante Fe. I saw this nice atractive WSW dressed in Jean coat and pants very casual. Hair was done to a tee. Lot of my fellow mongers were out doing the nomal flippng as usaul. I am unfamilar with that part of town so I turned on some side streets to see what is up. All of a sudden saw like three more WSW dressed sort of the same way. Hair done professionally. I stopped and holla at one she had like a russian accent. Quoated a c-note I started to but I had a gut feeling something wasn't quite right so I passed. But I did see other mongers pick up a couple. I got to scout out again before I partake. Never seen any post over this side of town.

Taking into consideration the hobby, and after reading ROB postings on CL and here, I would definately consider buying a piece maybe a .22 or .25 pistol, I dont hobby like you guys, I am strictly car dating, or take them back to my place. if I did indulge with incalls or someone at a hotel says "pssst.... I agree Speck, always try to avoid a dangerous situation. there are all kinds of lunatics in our hobby, some dangerous mongers rape their dates at knife point, or strong arm them, maybe even pull out a piece. I am always amazed that there is not more SW's in the LA and OC county. LA is such a big area that there is a lot of areas for the SW's to jump around. CL is taken away a lot of business. But this does not explain why more SW's in other parts of the country are only working on CL now. One possiblity is that socal and west coast is percieved as a being more prosperous. So therefore the SW's out here are trying to make more money.

I heard old skool mongers talk alot about the good ole days of LA and I wished I had a chance to experience those days, but I only have an impression as of Apr 2007 onward.

As I've gotten a chance to check out (or even read about) other areas in the country (where sex policies aren't as heavily enforced), I'm forming this opinion about why LA seems so lacking (relatively speaking): too much LE focus on victimless crimes.

For the past two weeks, I have noticed that there have been girls available on Figueroa, between Manchester and Imperial Hwy, but only in the mornings (on my way to work). There is nothing in the afternoons and/or early evenings.

This has largely been true on LBB as well (the afternoon part, I wouldn't know about the mornings on LBB). What is up with this?

I think there is a number of factors. LE has a reputation for cracking down in Socal. So a lot girls work mainly on CL. But I think if a SW were to jump around in LA county it would be very hard for LE to crack down. I still don't understand why SW's insist on sticking to a track..?

It's really ridiculous for the cops to allocate so much resources to SW's when there is 40,000 gang members in the LA area.

The other factor is that there is far fewer local SW's.

From what I've seen over the last few months, Fig is only really happening on Friday and Saturday nights between Manchester and Century, mostly close to Century on 98th by the elementary school, always plenty of girls out there after 10 or 11 pm. LBB is where the daytime action is, I usually pass through there 3 to 4 times a week between 2-5 pm and there are usually girls out there, sometimes quite a few. Have passed through LBB a few nights after seeing the daytime action but found nothing at all. Haven't been there late at night on the weekends though. I think the girls are doing LBB in the day time and migrate over to Fig for late night action. A few girls gave me their number in the afternoon on LBB so we could hook up later and when I called them at night they were on Fig.

What is happening now on Figgy is the same pattern I saw Sunset in Hollywood go through. Once a haven for sw's, Sunset Bl was busy virtually busy every night on both sides [east-west]. Around 2000, LE eliminated the "west-side" traffic & the east side was where it was it was at each nite. Slowly but sure, "east-side" became only a Friday-Saturday" track for the girls. And of course, now Sunset is dead, as LE wiped out the remnants of that traffic, a few years ago.

Could the same be happening on Figueroa, or is the lack of Sun-Thursday activity a temporary thing ?

You've hit my pet peeve! That is why we need to push for legalization, we are wasting too many tax dollars and to much LE resources on this.

Additionally, if prostitution were legalized, it would be easier to stop crimes that are now common in the industry (i.e. sex slavery)

This was at about 4 p.m. on Saturday, all of the sudden there were all of these younger looking SW in the old hottie gallery, but only on this one street, the first one up from Gage, and only on the western side of PIG.

There were lots of cars lined up on that street, but I never saw any of the girls get into anyone's car, or even talk to anyone.

There is still good action to be found on the streets. It's just takes more patience and attention to pick a vibe as what is happening on the streets. Winters have become the slow season for SW's in Socal for some reason. This is why it's important for everyone to report what action is out there.

If you mean circa 1998 when every Fri. and Sat. nite both Sunset and SB were lined with high quality SW often several per corner, and LE (pre-Bratten) minded its own business, then, yeah, things are much worse now.

Even say a couple years back when there was still a stroll on Century.

I can remember when nobody went to Fig or LBB, there was no need to. Now both of those seem to being dying too.

I, for one, am not willing to do my hobbying on CL, I want to see what I am getting up front.

Just checking out the long beach forum in preparation for a trip I'm taking. In Phoenix, AZ I used to enjoy a very plentiful SW (almost all BSW) action for a few years but within the last couple of years it has died and from what I've seen isn't worth my time. I was very leary of CL for a while but if your careful, just like the streets, it can be a great way to find quality providers. When calling I developed the following practices which have been working rather well: Ask detailed questions. If they don't want to discuss much on the phone, great. Probably less chance of LE. If they are overly abrupt and ready to discuss prices and are descriptive of services I'd be suspicous. Ask any details which you consider important and even some which may not be just to get an idea of the girls attitude. Attitude usually dictates quality of performance. If professional pics clarify that they are real, and let them know you are not promising a session untill you meet them. This lets you avoid some ***** saying you still took her time and insisting on compensation even when she looks like shit. Upon arrival clarify all details as providers will often say one thing on the phone and seem have another story during the session.

If the pics look real, her attitude seems fun/sweet, etc.., and the details are to your liking you can safely bet that your going to have a great time!

This is just my experience. Hope it helps and if anyone has other tips please share!

Cruised fig and picked up a WSW (approx 5'8 dark hair) around 98th. LEO was heavy and she told me it usually is on Tues and Thursday. Anyway is it me or I am starting to notice a lot more action in the mornings all over South LA. I use to think a lot of these young tenders trying to get money for the Prom and graduation and stuff. It seem like more I run into they want someone to be with long term. Trying to latch on it kind of put salt in the game a little.
