Several months ago, a monger posted on this board that he was on a blacklist. I followed his story on this board and another that had more details. I never learned what his infraction was. Neither did he. Was he a jerk / freak / dirtbag or did he just write a review she didn't like? She can put you on the blacklist for any reason.

No reason is given for being on the list. It looks like they just like to 'out' mongers. Now imagine friends, children, co-workers, employers, SO's or new girlfriends googling your name and this site comes up. Apparently, the pics come from Facebook.

FYI, I am not on this blacklist or any other. One reason is that I treat providers with dignity and respect. The other reason is I stay anonymous. This is easier said than done. This is what I've learned from the boards.

1. NEVER let them know your name.

2. NEVER let them know where you live.

3. Use a hobby phone, not registered to your real name.

4. Use a web based (I. E. Yahoo, gmail, hotmail) hobby email address, not registered to your real name.

5. Don't let them see your car / license plate.

6. Don't bring your wallet & ID in with you, where it can be checked when you're in the shower.

7. Don't let them know your board handle

8. Don't register on provider web sites (may reverse IP your internet address to get your real city and state)

BTW, the monger finally got off the blacklist by enlisting the services of a lawyer that specializes in this work. It cost him a couple of thousand. I don't know if he's still married.

They said it's dangerous not to screen and I am putting everyone at risk. A hobbyist said I'm putting him at risk for not screening as well! If it is important I will do it. Apparently there are screening services out there that ask for a minimum of information. I don't know. I just feel like a total idiot I guess. I only started escorting since Feb. I used to be rather lax about screening, but a number of incidents convinced me of how important it really is. There are people who just like to make you drive to random houses where the resident has no idea who you are, or why you're there. These are annoying, they waste your time, and money. Avoiding Uncle Leo is of course one of the other main reasons. It isn't easy for them to get references from at least two reputable providers or agencies. Then there are the truly dangerous ones. A relative rarity I will admit, but I have known girls who have encountered them. They range from the ones who will simply pull a gun on you afterwards and take the money back, to the more violent ones. I've known girls who were raped with hot curling irons, and butcher knives. Girls who were tied up and held hostage for days at a time. Girls who were tied up and repeatedly raped by 5 guys for an entire night. Then there's the fact that the majority of serial killers start off with prostitutes because they're easy targets. This can be a very dangerous line of work, and if you're in it long enough and not screening, you're likely to have some type of incident because of it eventually.

You will lose some business by requiring screening, but there are plenty of clients who have no problem with it. I hope that none of these things ever happen to you, but honestly the odds are against you without screening.

First of all, I will not reveal much in the way of personal information to someone I don't know, not knowing where that information might end up. Secondly, who is to say the information given is even correct? I think it would be better if a monger can refer to one or two other mongers who might be clients of the provider, but, the unfortunate fact is this is still a hobby that brings along lots of risk for both parties.

I can't see why any mongers raised a big stink about not screening, and I don't see what the increased risk to them is. If anything, there is just a possible increased risk to the provider.

I suggest that you are better off not getting contacted by any monger who is such a woos that he is scared off because you do not screen.

They claim to make sure I'm not another 'CL killer'. Trouble is, they all require I give my CC just to verify I'm an adult. Sorry, I don't give my CC # for anything like this. I have never had a legitimate provider ask for cc.

The ones that ask for it to prove you are adult or send you to site that requires
Your cc# are all scammers.

Do not ever give your cc. It is just common sense.

Giving out credit cards is not good for LE reasons as well. It makes the offense visible to IRS as well as potential federal.
