That's why I was shocked to find Laura was at least real and attractive. I have been the victim of this scam a half dozen time 3 times in one day. Always in Moco, always with a TGTBT ad. I have never sent money though. I simply wasted my time driving to some hotel on the pike just to be hit with this stupidity while I sat hopefully in the parking lot texting for a room number. Never send money to an unknown before a meet. That picture you fell in love with could be a dude texting you. In all cases, especially round here, you're better off blocking the number and driving home.

Should have known better but I didn't want to risk the place that she gave. Live and learn. Pretty sure this one is a scammer.

I would be willing to bet you pay before you get the room number or before she lets you in if it is a private residence. I would also be willing to bet she is not anywhere near the hotel or private residence she sends you too.

Gives you an address and then make you pay with cashapp before they give you the room number. I even called her bluff on the video call option and she said she'd give me the FaceTime number, but she won't actually answer the call and show me her face before I cashapp her haha.

What's even more interesting is that she has a ton of reviews corroborating her what's she implies: Sent her the money, got the room number, she answered the door and greeted me, etc. I wonder if she, he, or they are writing bogus reviews and comments to further get people to buy into the bs?
