So would you be okay with your neighbor sneaking into your garage and taking your Porsche for a spin whenever they wanted to? Would you be okay if someone slept in your San Diego hotel room while you were out all day? I'm going to guess the answer is "no. ".

For me, $500 per "date" for someone painfully average who isn't offering anything unique is just a non-starter, especially when there are more fulfilling things to spend my money on. I don't know your reasons for using SA, but for me it's just fun. And when it's not fun, I don't bother with it. I can have fun in different ways.

I encourage you all to think similarly. Not because it benefits me, or the "community" here. Because you deserve to live a full, exciting, interesting life that's rewarding. And if SA isn't rewarding your efforts, do something else.
