But a sad story nonetheless.

If they can make this stick, they could technically go after any site that 'makes money of prostitution'. Notice those ads on here? Need I say more?

No fucking idea why Backpage is in Dallas but we are ready.

A2[/blue][/QUOTE]The Attorney General in California that brought the charges is running for US Senate and is endorsed by the President.
Big time Democrat from San Francisco that is hoping to take Barbara Boxer's seat when she retires this year.
A US senate seat makes you an automatic millionaire, no matter what party affiliation.
This is political grandstanding so she can get elected.
A publication can't be held liable if an advertiser breaks the law.
As the governator Arnold would say, it's all boollshit!

Pretty much any Internet site that hosted ads could be charged, especially places like Eros that directly charge money to host advertisements for escorts. Will these charges stand? I don't know, but the fact that they're going to be able to use them to throw a senior executive of BP in jail is going to send a pretty chilling message to him and the rest of his group, if not to the other sites, and that can't be good for us.
[blue]Are you kidding? That's great news for us, we are ready. New version coming out soon.
Unlike them we aren't tied to the USA

A2[/blue][/QUOTE]I won't claim to be any more knowledgeable about the laws of various states than anyone else. I don't know if there is a page anywhere where it isn't being discussed. I have read backpage ads, but have never actually made contact with a girl. Backpage scares me. I read all the comments about scammers. It seems that a good deal of the time, the girls are 20 years older and 50 pounds heavier than their ads. A few mongers seem happy with their choices. Do the happy ones have any particular secrets or is it sometimes getting lucky? I also wonder with the amount of real street talent disappearing and the obvious low quality of more than a few BP girls, how many of them used to be on the street and are trying to take advantage of the situation to get off the street and double and triple their prices.

Not as many recently, and since Dart's shit, more and more warily for sure. The powers that be are making it really difficult for everyone. Guess the ladies will have to be using another form of advertising, IE some app or something. BTW, it is really about getting lucky. Sometimes you can tell somewhat from the pre meeting conversation but usually you never know until you meet and greet. Just like a real date. LOL.
