Wilkens and Morrell Park are close and if you are patient you will eventually find a girl with some meat on her bones.
I joined this board about twenty years ago, during what I think of as the "Trashman era" and always thought that the late Trashman and his acolytes were too strict in dealing with newbies. This is her opportunity to leave the city and get back in a program and get clean, if she doesn't do that, then she's just waiting around for her old BF to get out.

OTOH if she did not make eye contact there is also a decent chance that either she was a civilian or a SW but uninterested in turning a trick and the better option was to check her out without approaching her.
