When she holds her finger to her lips and says "shhh", pay attention. It's for everyone's benefit.
Yep, don't reckon the law will check phone logs. Keep the towel on junior. Pay your tips and exit.
There was a case in Tuscaloosa where they arrest a guy on Feb. In April, they started arresting men for prostitution in connection to that victim or human trafficker. That made me assume that they got access to the phone records in order to do that. I read up on it and if it's a felony situation, they can search records so that's why they are interviewing the women hoping that they can call it human trafficking.
They got two girls I've never seen before. Anyone know what happened to the original?

Phone logs are just numbers, if she doesn't talk, you don't talk, everything's cool. Don't answer questions and plead the 5th.
Unless you're calling in wanting help with your foreign language homework I can't imagine any of your conversations are lasting more than 15-20 seconds. Even in the highly unlikely event phone logs are actionable that's simple enough to spin off as a 'wrong number'. No muss no fuss.
Secondly, fck the bible belt sucks.
The only people that could potentially be in trouble would be the guys getting a massage when the raid happened and even then a lot of times they just tell them to get dressed and leave.
It's a business, it gets phone calls. Camera footage of people goin in and out well it's a business. Unless it was a sting operation, I think the ones in trouble are the owner and the women working there.
I'm not concerned one bit. I was once inside the room butt naked getting a massage when I heard a loud commotion outside the room. The girl massaging me quickly covered my ass and left the room immediately. Didn't know what to do so I just laid there. The door opened and a guy dressed in some sort of undercover uniform with a badge walked in. Asked me what I was doing there. I said look at the sign at front door. I'm here for a back massage. He said get dressed and get the hell out. I said but I'm not finished with my massage yet. He said just do what I said and left the room. I put my clothes on as fast as I could and left. On the way out there was two other guys in the lobby and a couple of unmarked cars up front. Didn't see any of the workers. There is no way in hell they can go after anyone just for calling or being inside a legal business providing massage, unless they hear you negotiating money for sex or finding you in action. The place I'm talking about was in a nice and respectable part of town and not in shady areas. This did not happen in Birmingham and it was many years ago. Agreed fuck this Bible Belt shit!
Kind of curious as to where and when this happened. I remember about 10 or 12 years ago I visited a parlor on 280. Girl came in acting very nervous and threw a towel over me. She would not talk, gave a very lackluster massage and walked out without saying a word when the time was up. Only massaged my back and lower legs. Never got close to the boys and made it clear no extras were available. Never even asked for a tip. Got home that evening to see a group of men being escorted out of one of the roebuck AMPs in handcuffs on the 5 o'clock news. This was enough to keep me away from the AMPs for several years. Luckily for me, that was about the time I discovered backpage.

The men were arrested for visiting an illegal house of prostitution.
Scary stuff be safe guys. Keep your ear to the street to be aware if the locals in the area are complaining about an establishment. When I saw that people on Facebook were snitching I knew it was a matter of time. The PD in that area are nosy. These raids and busts are why I've been saving up my money to travel abroad instead. The US' laws are anti fun for this hobby.

Guess it all depends on the goal of uncle LEO. IIRC, at the time of the Roebuck raids (there were a few raids during that time frame) the goal of LE was to discourage the mongers from visiting those locations, basically starving the supply by scaring off the demand. Guess they could always use the ads placed on the various websites as proof of being a house of prostitution. Still a wasteful use of taxpayers resources to fight a "criminal" activity that should be legal anyway.
As has been mentioned here many times before, always be safe and fully aware of your surroundings. If something don't feel right then turn and run.
I am new to this group. Looking for few good options in Bhm, I will be in bhm this week.
Thanks.
