I started Mongering back in the early 90's on Fig, Long Beach Blvd. And honestly the best of them all PCH and I did some awesome car dates but I came to 4 big realizations:

01) You're vulnerable to attack.

Let's face it, if a guy is getting blown really good, how can you enjoy it if every couple of seconds you're looking out the window for some gangsta getting an easy mark. Getting caught with your pants down is not cool.

02) It's uncomfortable.

I'm a big guy and honestly, once the chick gets into position she's either hitting her head on the steering wheel or getting caught in the gear shift. And even when it's working, you're cramped as hell.

03) PEOPLE FUCKING LIVE HERE!

Put yourself in their shoes, some of these people are trying to raise their kids there. Fucked up neighborhood? Yup. But it's their neighborhood. I find it disrespectful to be Mongering in front of somebody's house which is why I always stick to industrial areas to pick up and drop off. I've missed out on a couple of lookers because they were standing in the wrong place.

Thinking with your other head can get you in trouble. The best ever setup for a Hoe-Stroll was Old School PCH / Lynnwood and Union Avenue in Bakersfield because the Providers would just stand directly in front of the Notel. Hell, on Union Avenue, some of the chicks are not visible until you turn into the Notel parking lot! I once turned in to talk to this so-so WSW but found the parking lot filled with like 20 chicks!

I actually got with this awesome LSW who nearly had me proposing marriage!

4) Technology.

Back in the day there was really no consequences for getting caught with a Provider but now. Everybody has a phone and everybody has a camera. Is it really worth getting put on Youtube just isn't worth it. Anything on the Internet can be found and never goes away.

You just never know.

Suddenly with flashlights on all four sides of your car you are hard pressed to deny even if you did quickly pull up your trousers as the first flash of light hit you. $25 for a Notel room is a small price to pay to avoid this experience, not to mention the lawyer and court costs.

This one reason why I always drive a good distance from where I pick up a SW. I also try and find a dead end street. The advantage here is that it is much harder for LE to sneak up on you. The key however is get out of the area where you picked up the SW.

Wednesday night cruise, spotted a very pretty brunette on the corner of 7th and Maple where the big parking lot is with all the tents in front. Too good looking for downtown. About 5'8", long wavy black hair, white, about 33. First time I saw her she was walking with a big black guy and there was a cop car half in the driveway of the parking lot with their lights on.
