There is a very fine line that one has to avoid crossing with a meet n greet...

Rule 1) No business transacted at the party not even arranging an appointment for a week down the road.

Rule 2) If the lady is being paid to attend she does nothing beyond a dance like you would have in a very strict club

Rule 3) The ladies and the guys do not talk shop. You can talk about what is read in a public forum, but never discuss prior appointments.

Rule 4) Whenever possible stay in public places. It is very hard to prove something illegal was going on when multiple witnesses can say they saw a group of folks having dinner or drinks.

Rule 5) You never know when someone has been popped and is now playing for the other team, so keep the group small and trusted.

As one that has been to an evening with the "GUYS" I just wanted to add my 2 cents worth (If it is worth that much?). When ever I have attended it has always been drinks and/or dinner in a very public place. I.E. sports bar, average nice restaurant, hotel bar for happy hour etc. This is nothing that 10's of 1000's of people don't do every night.

If and when a lady shows up she is bought a couple of drinks or dinner nothing more intended or implied. As a matter of fact one invitee thought something totally different was on the menu. Upon this information coming to light a phone call was made prior to the dinner just to assure her of what the evening plans were truly consisting of and she was fine, showed up and had a great time. What red blooded American male allows a pretty lady to buy her own drinks and/or dinner when out for the evening regardless of her profession?

The meetings I have been to have never been a public paw and grope session as to invite public scrutiny or LEO suspicion, just the opposite. They have just been like minded people enjoying a relaxing evening in a non work environment. Not really much different than part of an office staff meeting after work. They may be competitive during the work day but enjoy each others company after work.

There has never been any open discussions of pimping, pricing or services provided. Just friendly conversations that occasionally will drift into an adult nature without anyone getting embarrasses about it. But never shop talk as far as I am concerned. Trust me I have been on double dinner dates with couples that are in the swing lifestyle and BDSM lifestyle and those conversations would light your ears up if you were not prepared for it. That doesn’t happen at any of the events I have attended with my friends from here. I do have to qualify that statement by saying that I have not attended all of the events due to work or family commitments. But I can honestly say that anytime I have participated that I have not seen or been involved with anything even close to being considered illegal, risky or even inappropriate.

I have heard of parties that have occurred but have not personally partaken in them where things have been taken to the next level. I would most definitely think that at such a party all involved would have to be extremely comfortable with each other and have a very high level of trust in one another. A very difficult thing to achieve in this hobby I do believe.

I am not trying to disparage or dismiss any of the comments made on the subject by those that have contributed. On the contrary, I think you all have made some great points that everyone (including myself) should take to heart and honestly examine your actions to insure that you are minimizing your risk. I don’t think that anyone should stop doing what makes them happy, just take a honest inventory and make any adjustments you feel are warranted to minimize your risk.

I do sincerely thank you one and all for your time and thoughts. But we also must keep in mind that all of us have our own ideas, comfort levels and method of hobbying that coincide with our own unique set of needs, wants and expectations. Some hobbyist have a much higher (or lower) threshold of risk than others. This doesn’t make them wrong or reckless. It just means they may be more in this for the hunt (i.e. street girls) or super conservative (i.e. Eros girls). Regardless of the risk factor one chooses to challenge or avoid it is imperative for one and all that they take all necessary steps to minimize their risk while maximizing their attempts at quiet enjoyment. LOL!

Once again, thank everyone for their comments as even an old dog like me learned a couple of new things the last couple of days.

I still go to undercover lock down Parties, with area strippers for the purpose of arrangement right there, and in the future. The price is preset, there is a door cover, and it is BYOB. Often, drinks are sold too. There is always a place to conduct business with ladies, and the main area have live stripping and more going on.

It is never open to the public and if you don't know the person giving it, or from someone well connected, then you won't get in or even an invite.

The place is full of Dope Boyz with rolls of money to burn, so you won't impress the girls with money, because you will always be out-spent everytime. So you better have your conversation skillz very handy. That will get you far, and your ability to pay helps too.

Remember Dope Boyz are quick money to them, so they need folks like us for longterm security, and money, so they will bit when you are fishing. Dope Boyz have so many girlz to do, that most time it is one time and out. So it is a good idea to get decent contact info, and a place to meet at.

The real problem is that these girlz change cell phones so often that they can be hard to let up with, and they tend to be most available when you are not. They can have day jobs and can move from place to place often. So there are many problems to deal with.

The good thing is that they are very Sexz, well built, young over 21y/o, attractive, somewhat money minded, but often not business minded. Often a head full of fake hair, fake nails, and too much mouth, and the cell phone is glued to their hands, it never stops ringing, so you have to demand them to turn it off or be prepared to walk out. This needs to be done before you pay anything. Get your rule known up front and show them that they need you MORE than you need them.

Buyers and sellers of an illegal service are meeting. If the party had no relation to the business, we wouldn't be going. But I'll concede the point for this discussion and acknowledge we'll all be found not guilty at our jury trial. So we win.

WarlockKy correctly points out that everybody must follow the rules the entire time. But not arranging a date is not enough. Hobby talk is a bean spiller. Can you imagine a party of us without hobby talk? People are consuming alcohol for crying out loud. The public location is a double edged sword. Civilians can easily get mixed in with the group without the civilians knowing and without the group knowing. All it takes is one off-the-cuff comment to spill the beans.

Second, I've been to several of these and quite frankly, they don't look right. The men are too old and the women too young and hot. The servers mingle with the group and the group mingles with the bartenders and everybody gets wise pretty quick. If there is music and dancing, the older men thing, the younger women thing, people don't dance like that at a real party.

This would have been bad enough ten years ago, but with all the news and TV shows about the business we all play in, a true civilian would have to be living in a hole to not figure it out.

Finally there's the local TV station getting wise and sending a crew on a slow news night. "Film at 11."

I submitted the post a bunch of times. Better that I tell exactly what I did and why so Giani can resolve how he was impacted in a way that was not intended by me and so Jackson can tell me what I did wrong.

I stumbled onto the extension "/?layout=detailed" that when added to the URL of Backpage and Nuvo (but not Craigslist) would allow the reader to append all those separate ads into one long ad so it could be opened only once and scrolled.

I considered the extension very handy and wanted to get it out to the guys in the areas where I focus. My thinking was were I to post it once, for example, in Cincinnati General Reports only, it would be a long time before it got around, and this little tool was handy enough it deserved being "planted" in enough places that it would make its way around faster.

I wanted to plant it in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.

In Indiana I put it on Indianapolis and South Bend. Ohio was Cincinnati and Columbus. Kentucky was Louisville and Lexington. Tennessee was only Nashville I think.

Now, because the tool was specific to Backpage and Nuvo, that meant it needed to go on the sub-boards of Backpage and Nuvo in those cities that had those sub-boards. I think I also posted it under General Reports for the city or maybe it was the state. Maybe I did get a little carried away.

P.S. The "thank you" posts have started so I think others will find this as useful as I expected.

P.S. No. 2 I'm advised that on both Backpage and Nuvo, top left under the search box appears "view of ads: full | brief." The default is "brief." Clicking "full" will ad the extension and open one full ad to be scrolled. So I'm afraid this is a Roseann Rosannadanna moment.

Whenever you see these types of BS charges, it is an attempt to humiliate the person charged. LE can pretty much charge you with a lot of vague charges that will most likely be thrown out, but not before your name has been attached and then most will assume that it is true. It is a frustration ploy and only used to intimidate. If you want an exacting definition contact an attorney or two or three and they will each put a slightly different spin on it. It is in all of our best interests to fight this kind of crap. This type of power is corrupt and nefarious, and we all need to insure that it does not continue. Of course as always, this is just my opinion.

Why don't all of the senior members go to the rip-off thread and post their past rip-off experiences over the next week or so.

This will give the newbies an easier way to learn from our previous mistakes (Some of the current threads are getting rather long) and give the rest of us a chance to maybe have a chuckle or two at ourselves as we take a walk down memory lane. LOL!
