Thanks to a fellow senior member who knows the right way to do things around here, I finally met the famous Erin. I'm not going to say who lest he be bombarded with requests for info. He knows who he is and I have thanked him via pm. Her talents are indeed as previously described and she seems like a nice gal. Absolutely no sign of drug use and she was quite clean. Doesn't mean she doesn't use something, but if she does, it does not interfere with her doing business. A lesson all these SW's should learn. Been out a couple times recently and haven't seen a whole lot. There is some activity but not a whole lot. Thought there would be more on the recent warm days but not so. LE presence was normal to high.

What he got busted for was "trading information", which implies an exchange of things of value, regarding the services of a 17 year old minor, AND for running a raffle which presumably included accepting money from raffle participants, a portion thereof that was presumably used to pay a prostitute to service the raffle winner, thus making him a pimp.

In all, not very smart.

GREENWOOD, Ind. -- A prostitution scam discovered in Johnson County took money from more than 100 men, authorities said Wednesday.

Shelly A. Chance, 41, told police she used online chat rooms to lure men to a home on Pearl Street in Greenwood, where she would collect $100 in advance for sex. After the money was collected, police said, Jose M. Roman, who is 6-foot-3 and 270 pounds, would appear and scare the men away.

"It's kind of the perfect crime for the criminal," said Greenwood Police Chief Joe Pitcher. "They have a scared-to-death victim with money who is too afraid, or embarrassed, to turn them in."

Undercover police arrested Chance and Roman, both of Indianapolis, on Monday. An affidavit filed in Johnson County court accuses them of scamming more than 100 men since 2006, including five last week.

The couple used the money to support drug addictions, according to the affidavit.

Acting on an anonymous tip, undercover police called Chance to arrange a meeting, the affidavit said. After agreeing to meet at a hotel, Chance said she was having car problems, and the undercover investigator met her at the Pearl Street residence.

After taking $100, Chance said she had to give the money to her daughter to pay utilities and walked into the home.

Police said they eventually had to force their way inside, and they struggled with Roman and Chance before arresting them.

Police said they also found what they think is crack cocaine inside the house and arrested a man who had just left on a cocaine charge.

That man, Dontai Ferrell, 2900 block of Boulevard Place, was carrying $1,799 in cash, $100 of which undercover police had given to Chance. Police say she admitted giving the money to Ferrell to pay for crack cocaine and detailed her involvement in the scam.

According to the court documents, Roman told police that he and Chance had lured more than 100 men into the scam since it began more than two years ago.

Pitcher said detectives also are investigating an anonymous tip that Chance and Roman worked with another couple conducting a similar scam in Marion County.

Chance, who remained in the Johnson County Jail on Wednesday, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, prostitution, maintaining a common nuisance and resisting law enforcement.

Roman was charged with possession of marijuana and was released on bond.

Ferrell, who remained in the Johnson County Jail on $400,000 bond, was charged with driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction and conspiracy to deal cocaine.

A WHITELAND --A manager's attentive eye led to a prostitution arrest at a truck stop in Johnson County Monday evening, activity that sheriff's officials say is a constant nuisance.

XXXXXXXXXX, 21, Jeffersonville, Ind., was charged with prostitution after being arrested at the Flying J Truck Stop in Whiteland.

Sheriff's deputies were called to the Pilot Truck Stop off I-65 on Monday after the manager, Albert Adams, reported suspicious activity. A report was filed the previous day about possible prostitution occurring at Pilot and at Flying J, both on Whiteland Road.

Adams told deputies that a gray Ford Escort with two CB antennas had visited the truck stop up to 30 times over the past two months.

"We're constantly having these types of problems," Chief Deputy Doug Cox said of prostitution at the two truck stops. "They're just hard to nab."

After spotting the vehicle at the Pilot facility, sheriff's deputies and Indiana State Police troopers followed the Escort to Flying J, where it stopped in the rear of the facility where semi-trailers were parked.

After surveillance, deputies saw XXXXXXXXXX exit a semi and get into the Escort, which they stopped. They also removed the semi driver from his truck.

Under questioning, XXXXXXXXXX said she went on the CB asked if anyone wanted "some company." A man answered back and asked where she was. At the time, XXXXXXXXXX was parked at the Pilot Truck Stop, and the person on the CB was at Flying J.

XXXXXXXXXX went to Flying J and found the semi driver, XXXXXXXXXX, 47, East Leroy, Mich., who admitted to deputies that he paid XXXXXXXXXX $80 for sex.

The driver of the Escort, who told deputies that he was XXXXXXXXXX's husband, said he had brought XXXXXXXXXX to the truck stop to see a friend. According to a probable cause affidavit, XXXXXXXXXX is eight months pregnant.

Woodman was issued a summons for patronizing a prostitute and released from the scene. The driver of the Escort was not charged.

XXXXXXXXXX , who remains in the Johnson County Jail, faces up to one year in jail and $5,000 in fines.

Last trip there wound up spending some time with Amber. Dark haired 20 something WSW talked about on here. She seems a bit more level headed then most and after picking her up on my first day in town made arrangements to see her again the next day and she was actually there. That helps even thought it it no guarantee. I've turned down info to members that have no contributions.
