I thought I was cured of my habit since it had been roughly a year since I participated. This forum is very interesting, and after reading many posts, I have started back to mongering. 20+ years ago, I was a fan of E. Main St. And Angier Ave. I enjoyed quite a few regulars at the time; Libby, Shequita, Mary and several others. Today I cruised Holloway from Alston to the Auto Zone and saw a few BSWs, one WSW and possibly a LSW. One of the most interesting BSW was at the bus stop in front of the school at Holloway and and. Greetings from Chapel Hill! The SW scene in Chapel Hill & Carrboro has changed. The landscape has changed, but the fun remains the same. I don't know if it has to do with economics, types of addictions in particular or the mental health aspect in general but there have been a lot of new faces in the game. Two locations have popped up over the last couple of months including Camelot Apts. These locations whether you call them homeless camps, Xanex City, etc. Are where these new faces are emerging. Like the white dreadlocks chick (Shout out to NightTraveler; good looking, Knight) or the loopy blonde stumbling towards the bike path with three crackheads at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Took a lunch break in the New Hope Commons shopping center. Saw an apparently homeless woman with some guys asking for spare change. If you look closely to the left, you can see a needle park behind the wire fence. And had an encounter with the, uhm, handler for the Walgreens Lady this past Saturday. Fool runs up to the car, completely disoriented sans dreadlocks, mumbled something incoherent and walks off. Hey, this synopsis is only my two cents and YMMV. Keep an eye out and keep your head up. SWs are wanting to find you even more than you are waiting to find them.

Now this area must be seen. You have to be on foot though; just park on a side street and go down to the circle. I'VE had lots of luck and no problems. This is the spot for BSWs. I haven't been there in a while, not since they built those condos. Remember how back in the day, there was real estate going through the roof, AIDS, war on drugs; the side streets off of Rosemary, like Lindsey Ave. , Mitchell Lane, Hargreaves, and Graham. The zone suffered, but it wasn't just CH. I was stationed in DC. They had their own zone (they had model agencies, strip clubs etc.) Same deal. All gone. Look at NYC. Yes, America cleaned up and forced us on the Internet. Just saying. Special favor asked of NightTraveler-Knight, any chance you can post a vid to a Google drive and share?

How can I be sure that its a SW and what are some good spots? I tried looking are Camelot the other night but no luck.

Franklin and Columbia St. This afternoon around 5 pm Saw 3 SWs. Rosa, another BWS, and the sun-burnt aneroxic with a puppy (She's a liitle over-the-top for me, always making a spectacle of herself and making it harder for the other kittens to hoke their wares.
