We all do things we know we shouldn't but sometimes let "little man" control our rational thought process. As long as we do this they will continue with the scam. If you don't bite, someone else will. This vicious cycle continues.

Picked up a thin Puerto Rican on Sligh / Neb near the shell gas station. We agreed on price after some haggling she wanted me to take give her $$ so she can pay for her room. I said no she was pissed and she told me.
Take her somewhere I'm an idiot so I went into a dark alley thinking I'm going to let her out. She instead insists I giver her money. I said for what? We didn't do anything she then pulled a gun. I gave her the cash and left the area.
She stays at the haven and goes by the name "Lee Lee" is about 5'3" - 5'5" maybe 115 pounds. Very short hair didn't see hair color but she's the only girl I've seen over there that fits that description. Avoid.

Finally Brooke was recommended by multiple users who said she never behaved this way before. Bye.

He probably should have a thicker skin and not feel so hurt that he retreats from the board entirely. But that's on him and entirely his call. However his larger point is completely correct. The point of this board is to share information not discouraging that. And kicking a man while he's down by ridiculing their mistakes discourages not just him but anyone else from coming forward with their own rip-off mistakes / reports. And that falls on all the rest of us.
Fortunately, not everyone responded that way (which I hope he remembers and reconsiders his decision to retreat). Some members showed greater compassion. After all, I'm sure most anyone who has been in this hobby for any length of time has probably made their own mistakes at one time or another, mistakes that perhaps should have been seen beforehand but only became obvious to them in hindsight.
It's never easy to admit our embarrassing mistakes to others (and risk additional ridicule) but fortunately at least some come forward and do that anyway in the hope that it might spare the rest of us from making similar mistakes.

After all, what you did could easily be seen as a small $20 gamble (extremely low odds gamble) and $20 can easily just be written off (which is what you should just do and lesson learned).
However, I'm not sure where you might have read CashApp ever guaranteed they'll get your money back. Directly from their website: "Since [B]Cash App cannot guarantee a refund if you don't receive what you pay for[/B], it's safer to send money over Cash App once you meet the buyer in-person and receive whatever has been promised to you. Don't send money to someone you don't know who is promising to deliver you something at a later date."
Where they can sometimes get you a refund is from legitimate merchants who need to be able to continue to do business through CashApp and for legal transactions. If you're dealing with hookers who can and often do easily and regularly change their advertised names and numbers as often as the rest of us change our clothes and who've only made vague promises of what's essentially an illegal transaction (prostitution), your chances of ever getting any refund is absolutely zero.
As far as multiple users saying she never behaved this way, I'd have to see that to believe it. At most they could only accurately say she never behaved that way WITH THEM (perhaps because they never agreed to any prepayment requests thus denying her the opportunity). Personally, I'd NEVER CashApp $ to anyone I've never met myself despite any perceived recommendation from others (who I've also never met).
What I have on occasion done, and in a couple of instances to my latter regret, is send or give money in person in advance of services to a provider I've previously seen myself. In those couple of cases where I didn't end up getting what I thought I paid for, I just rationalized the small amount I lost as an unintended tip over all my previous visits and wrote that provider off for any future business. However, the real lesson that both you and I should learn is never to CashApp in advance of services EVEN for providers we've previously done business with and THINK we know. Most of these girls are drug users and all of them are operating in a shadowy business. The potential for ripoff is there for ANY of them if you give them half a chance.

I've seen others post about how this girl or that girl took your deposit. My point is you don't know who the girl is since you didn't meet her, scammers steal pictures. All the ads wanting a deposit are scams. Some of us know that, and some don't. I've replied to many posting how a girl deposit-scammed.

That really isn't good actionable information, because we already know deposits are a scam. We've all made dumb mistakes, and you're no different.

So. I met an older WSW at the liquor store in Nowatney around 140th and 15th. She was approximately 5'6" maybe 125 pounds with red shoulder length hair. She approached the car and then asked what I wanted. We agreed on activity and price and then we headed to a nearby spot.
By the way she goes by the name of Sabrina or "Dollface".
I hand over the money and then she immediately asks if she can smoke. I see a pack of cigs in her hand, so I think ok cool no problem.
Very bad decision.
She finishes smoking in probably 2 minutes which I thought was odd. I say to her, "you smoked an entire cigarette that quickly?" She says yes but starts to speak in rambles and starts acting extremely paranoid. She accuses me of trying to record her or take pictures of her even though she just asked me 5 seconds ago to play a song that she requested on my phone.
She begins to accuse me of being a snitch and a rapist. Randomly and completely out of nowhere, she then starts to leave. I begin to follow her and ask her "are you attempting to steal my $$ She responds, "I'm not stealing, I just had to get the fuck out of there! How dare you follow me! Are you still going to give me ride back? Fuck you I'm not getting back in your car!
I facepalmed, sigh and then realized that I have the worst luck with street girls. I left the area and returned home shortly thereafter.
I start getting out of my car and then I see a that pack of cigs she had earlier. I looked inside and discovered a crackpipe.
Moral of the story, do not pick up crackheads.
However, if you suspect that you did pick one up, do not pay up front (that rule should apply to all SW honestly) and do not let them smoke before the activity.
It is a Very bad decision.
