Planned on visiting an AMP close to work at lunch today. It's in a strip mall with a dry cleaner, hair salon, etc - & convenience store on the end. I pulled up and saw uniformed uncle LEO hanging out in the dry cleaner next door, and noticed a couple SUVs in the parking lot with guys in them. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but an excess of caution has served me well thus far. I got out of the car (dude in SUV was eyeballing me) and went to the convenience store for a purchase I didn't need. Then left. Message for location if you want it. Drove through again on my way home from work and it looked like business as usual, but I didn't have time to stop.

Sat in lobby for a good 15 minutes, another girl comes out and I told her I wanted to wait in a room so I would not see the guy that was being taken care of when he came out. So a half hour later or so than I had planned I get in the room. Had towel off when she came back, with no attempt to cover me. To make a long story short, lot of teasing while on my back, she avoided the stick very carefully, and when she had me flip indicated self service was the only option available. Finished the job myself, left her a $10 tip, and walked out never to return.

I have been going to the same place and same girl at the same time for over two years and still occasionally get bumped back 30 minutes because someone walked in ahead of me. As for the level of service, it is not unusual for the first visit or two to be diy. They are just making sure that you aren't LE or worse.
