I can remember a while ago someone said they didn't mind doing DATY at Sky because the thing they did there was CFS. It always had to be wrapped.

I have never been there, but had been thinking about going there within the next month or so. This changes any plans I had on going there. Not that customer satisfaction is the primary reason for being in business, but things like this will scare away current customers and prospective customers. It is just all around bad for business.

I guess we all need to think about what we are doing, and who we are doing it with, and who else they have ever done it with.

This is an excellent and very important question. The short answer is that the risk of getting HIV from performing cunnilingus (oral sex on a woman or a person with a vulva) is extremely low, to the point of being considered negligible.

However, because "extremely low" is not the same as "zero," it's crucial to understand the details.

Why the Risk is So Low.

1. Saliva is Not an Efficient Transmitter: HIV is a fragile virus that does not survive well in saliva. Saliva also contains enzymes that break down the virus, making it ineffective for transmission.

2. Low Viral Load in Vaginal Fluids: While vaginal fluids can contain HIV, the concentration of the virus is significantly lower than in blood or semen.

3. Intact Mouth as a Barrier: The lining of the mouth (the oral mucosa) is a good barrier against HIV, unlike the linings of the rectum or cervix, which are more susceptible. The virus cannot pass through intact, healthy skin.

It doesn't say how long the women have known they were positive and / or if they were successfully following an antiretroviral drug protocol which can make transmission impossible. We need more information, not less or incomplete.
