Being run (owned?) by Jay who worked at or managed Follies for 14 years and Layla a longtime bartender came over with him.
He wants to make the place like Follies but capitalize on the Buckhead location and be more upscale. I pointed out to him Follies had taken a shit over the last few years. He agreed and assured me the place wasn't going to be as ghetto as Follies has become at night.
He's actively hiring and assured me that if I came back I'd be impressed. He had like 3 dancers there none of them worth a second glance when I popped in.
Of note he plans to open at 11 during the week and he's doing a lunch buffet. He credits his success at Follies to introducing a buffet. I didn't argue the strategy with him (I'm not a huge fan of crappy food in a strip club but realize some guys like it).
I wished him well. It would be great to have a vibrant SC option in that location during the day.
Of note: It will be a primarily white / mixed club not a black club. They did put some coin into cleaning up the interior and it looks nice inside.
I'd say give it a couple weeks to work the kinks out of the startup but put it on your list of places to try / revisit.
Good to know. Thanks for the update, I will have to check this place out next time I am making the rounds.

A small club with about 15-20 beautiful spinners, mostly white and young. It was like Cheers to me. Everybody knew everybody and it was like home. It was where I picked up one of the dancers and we had a 10 year GF relationship. She was a gorgeous redhead. She had since moved on to a great career. Things went downhill fast when they changed it to Forever 21. Hotspots proved that you don't need a lot of girls to be successful, all you need is a limited number (so that they can make a reasonable living) of top quality girls and a group of happy regular customers who are willing to spend reasonable money. You felt secure in there. No gangster type of customers and no fights. I was having a private dance there when the bomb went off across the street at the lesbian place. I hope they get back the old magic this time.

Has anyone else noticed the stupid number of girls with the fluorescent wristbands on at Follies nowadays? Not that I'm complaining about young dancers, but this crop as of late seems to think that being naked is the end all be all and that we should be glad for it. No customer service. Dropped by and a got a couple of dances from Mary (on the chubby side) and another ones name I can't recall but said it was her second day or so (fantastic body too). Both allowed extensive roaming during the dances, but both had this distant far away look in their eyes, clearly not not enjoying their jobs and their dances consisted of 1) rubbing their asses in a circle in my lap, 2) stand up and sway for 10 seconds, and 3) repeat. Even he VIP pitches were given in that "I hate my life, but this makes me the most money," kind of tone. Yeah real turn on. If Jay can bring in some girls that understand sensuality then I'd switch clubs in a heartbeat.

I'm visiting Atl next week, I live in DC. What's good stripclub attire in ATL? In DC / Md we wear basketball shorts mostly.
And what are the best spots for cheap / high groping dances? I don't mind how hood.

Mutual touch
Any clubs in Atlanta allow mutual touch in the VIP room clubs in Knoxville don't allow that?

Search on this board
Any clubs in Atlanta allow mutual touch in the VIP room clubs in Knoxville don't allow that?
If you take a quick look at the board, you will see many answers to this question, in fact it is at times the only thing this board talks about! Search for Follies, Flashers, etc. And see what comes up. Of course in the club, YMMV as always. Happy searching and thanks for the tip on Knoxville, we will be sure to not visit anything in that town.

Pp
Spent a few hours at the pink pony duringer their horsepower fundraiser weekend. Along with a few cute volleyball girls showing some swimsuit bottom camel T, the staff at PP was great. Servers were attenative and the dancers for the most part where quite cute. Even seen a few that where not shaved which I thougth was a standard in todays dancers.
Couple lap dances and enjoyed the bar dances (4 stages with one being the top of the back bar).
Was only approached for private dances once but did not go past the $10 dances around the bar.

Stilettos
Just left Stilettos and while the club does have potential, it's got a long way to go before it can sniff Follies daytime level. Granted the reason probably didn't help any but it's definitely a work in progress. Inside looks much nicer since the last time I visited a year back and there was active remodeling going on too. Biggest plus was the drink prices. Domestic beer was $3 and run and coke was $5. The downside was the talent available. Two maybe three girls there and nothing to write home about. Dances were Oasis level and they're didn't seem to be the same amount of two-way contact that Follows is famous for. I'm still cautiously optimistic for the future, but right now this spot is off my list till I hear some more positive reports.
Any clubs in Atlanta allow mutual touch in the VIP room clubs in Knoxville don't allow that?
Actually, Follies and some other clubs allow a lot of mutual touching in the $10 table dances. No need to go to VIP for that, although you might want to for something more than touching.

Now that my ATF has left us, I'm looking for a daytime stripper who likes to perform BBBJ. Any recommendations (esp. At Doll House) will be appreciated. I know Kitty at DH is awesome, but she doesn't provide the.
Finish I'm looking for. Feel free to PM me, and I promise to PM back some reciprocal intel after my next visit. Thanks.
