For higher end escorts, I think it's often not the only way they'll keep a roof over their head, but the way (or easiest way) for them to go from a lower-middle class lifestyle to an upper class lifestyle and have a lot of freedom. I have a LinkedIn from an Eros girl (she didn't give it to me) I saw and know she can have a middle class lifestyle without escorting. The well-traveled and educated thing, you can't be too harsh on just on its face. Part of being an escort is presenting to the public that you're actually a legitimate escort and that you're not advertising illegal activity.
