Never had any issues anywhere in Madison. Cool town to spend the weekend in.

Was wondering if anyone can give me some info on Lily. I have seen her reviewed well here but people were wondering how she was after coming back to STG and I didn't see an answer. It would be my first time seeing her.

Sure there is crime but by comparison you'd just about have to walk into something to have a problem. I mean people leave their cars running while paying for gas in the winter. This still shocks me. The car would be gone in a lot of places. Anyway, keep your eyes open and be safe out there.

Back when I lived in Madison I had an IROC-Z28 and Corvette both stolen neither was ever recovered that I know. But compared to Milwaukee or Rockford it's pretty safe. I never go into Madison without either a gun in my vehicle or carrying one because I have a carry / conceal permit. Never have needed it but it's a peace of mind thing as last resort if something went terribly wrong.

I'm not afraid to walk anywhere in Madison. But that's different from whether I feel comfortable driving around in certain neighborhoods and walking into a residential incall in the middle of the day. I don't like feel conspicuous. I prefer the opposite.

(sighing).[/QUOTE]100% agree, I moved here from Michigan 3+ years ago, and managed cities like Flint and Detroit for years with very few problems by being a bit cautious. I went the Fitchburg spot earlier this and seen a neighborhood with all races present during the day. The area is not much different then my neighborhood. I run on bike trails near this area almost daily and I am still alive. Today you need to keep eyes open anywhere and yes bad things can happen but compared to Milwaukee, Chicago or Rockford and most larger cities (100 K+).
Madison is pretty safe. Besides the place does not operate late at night.
