I can understand why they ask for a DL because we are wanting to see them (Not them wanting to see us) and they are making sure you are safe and not a sex offender or possibly worse. I have saw her a few times. She is definitely worth the experience in my opinion. That's another reason I don't visit clubs in SC anymore. Just what I need: a club having my personal information. Not that I am rich or famous or have family, but I like my privacy. The strip club on Augusta road use to have approximately 15 drivers license printed and taped to the wall at the end of bar (if you walked in go to right, the two private dance rooms were on Right the bar was on left) this was where there wall of shame was, people the club / dancers deemed contempatable. Your photo, full address, and date of birth was there for anyone and all to see. So if you make a stripper or shady bartender mad you would be posted. Totally not cool.

Most clubs have extensive camera systems both inside and out, so if there is a need to identify you it's usually not difficult.
Heck when Walmart IDs me for alcohol, the clerk looks at my I'd, then types the birthday only in. No scan. The facts are yout personal information is everywhere already, so maybe it doesn't matter. . but I am not sending a provider my I'd. It doesn't protect her, it helps locking a person up after a crime has been committed, but offers no actual protection. The next time a provider asks for your I'd, ask for hers. For "protection".
