The best thing to do is to find a lawyer that specializes in sex related cases. If this her first offense the attorney can plea the case to disturbing the peace. They typically will offer John school and a AIDS / HIV test. If she stays clean the court will seal the record.

Thanks. She has no money so has to go the public defendant route. She only met him when she got arrested and doesn't remember his name. I told her to contact the court, find out who it is and set up a meeting before her next court appearance.

SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME.

I have been at the hobby many years and Connecticut rarely does any strategy against the sex trade in isolation.

Stings as he describes have the potential to be life-ruining, while (of course) doing absolutely NOTHING to protect the citizens of the state or the country. For fuck's sake-- it is THE OLDEST PROFESSION. Most civilized societies (and even a few that aren't-- anyone watch "Game of Thrones? Regulate, tax, and protect the sex trade. Driving it further underground only risks deeper involvement in organized crime, human trafficking, increased infectious disease, increased drug use, etc.

If there was one sting, I guarantee another in the Nutmeg state!

Maybe it's time I retire.

She can take they deal and be done with it or plead not guilty and wait for a public defender. A lot depends on which court it is going to. Can you share that information?

The ads themselves are ok, and if you mouse over the exploded pic on the gallery, it cycles through the ad pics at normal size.

Backpage rakes in a lot of money. Every post in the escort section is 7 and in bodyrubs it's 3, and most of the advertisers repost several times a day. Obviously they aren't investing that money in site design and usability. I'd suggest that they hire some good web programmers, but since they are about to be killed by the financial industry.... .

Meaning the cop's report won't reflect her "no" reply and her sense of sarcasm when she stated $1 M.

If she's broke with no prior, a public defender could get her AR.

She could fight it with her version if her lawyer could strike a deal with the prosecution. Slim and slimmer if a judge hears the case.

So if there is a recording, and no record of prostitution, the case would mostly likely get dropped. But now they have stupid assignation to commit laws which are a crock of shit. So if they charge that then it's up the wind.

Having a wire to communicate with other cops is sufficient.

Their testimony alone can convict along with whatever you say prior to the arrest for their written report.

True. But if Bitcoin catches on more and more then more sellers will start accepting Bitcoin and that reduces the need to convert Bitcoin to dollars. However, that's not likely to happen anytime soon, if it ever does happen.

It's just that it might now have become harder to spot the useful ads due to the increased noise levels.
