I figured my original post about Halo might get backlash; I'm just surprised it took so long. Anyway Dxter, since you felt the need to voice your opinion, I think I will point out a few things.
While I believe some people are born with advantages over others (social status, economic status, quality upbringing, etc). The real heart of the problem is the fact that almost all the time people end up in the positions they are in BECAUSE OF THE CHOICES THEY THEMSELVES HAVE MADE. There are countless examples of either extreme. People that have come from broken homes and gone on to be successful, and people that have come from wonderful backgrounds that have gone on to be complete losers. WHERE A PERSON GOES IN LIFE DEPENDS ON THE CHOICES THEY MAKE.
Nobody was holding a gun to Halo's head to make her get in my car. Or hundreds of other mongers cars for that matter. She was offering services for money. I actually paid a bit more than she was asking. I always treated her (and any other sex worker) with kindness and respect. If you were to watch the videos I have of her, you would see her smiling, casually talking, etc. Not in any distress.
