Like you, I also check gals out. The true professionals, those that are SP as a career / lifestyle choice are savvy and usually give me info that lets me check them out. They can tell by sizing me up that I won't do them harm. I do see them once or twice without the check but take other security measures. I would never be in a moving vehicle with one whose name I didn't know. The other gals are what you guys usually refer to as "BP Girls". They are trying out the hobby or don't know enough about identity security. They are usually easy to figure out through public records. This isn't a matter of stalking for me. I just like to know what the deal is. Examples of warnings: lots of drugs or weapons (or both!) on their social media pages. And like FL Recruit, I check for arrests etc.

To be fair, I am a fairly normal guy and I have friends from the non-hobby world who have been arrested (once). Charges have included:

DUI.

Assault.

Assault on Police Officer.

Trespass.

Shoplifting.

The charges were all way over the top (ok, maybe not the DUI's). So the arrest is sometimes just the cop being a dick, not a real criminal event. IMHO she probably does have a medication problem but as to whether you subscribe to her poison or one of a different kind who are we to judge?

As for CaptainJohn, well, slander is a strong term especially where there may be a foundation of truth to the statement he objects to. I too, do not wish to fan the flames of innuendo or hearsay. However, having been to a certain 'Island' in west Cocoa all I can say is that there is seldom smoke without fire. It just saddens me that there are mongers / hobbyists that would allegedly take advantage of women who are probably resorting to this means of supporting themselves and their children at the lowest point of their lives.

I don't know. I never expect a brownie scout leader to put an ad up on backpage. I know only 25% of the young gals don't have a serious substance problem. They don't stay around a long time, but you can tell just by following ads what's going on.
