The real mongers--those seeking action--know that Curves is for the gentile and gentrified. It's a place to go to see near-naked women but not a place for extras or happy endings. This is my opinion after more than twenty years of Curves experience. Others may have different experiences. YMMV.

So stopped by TDW around 2:30 yesterday afternoon for a beer. Dead is not the word I would use to describe it. I have seen more people at a pauper's funeral. 2 girls, both hot looking but just hanging out with the favs. Had a beer and watched the game on the Telly. Around 3 headed down to curves. Good news is the game was still on and domestic bottles were $3 and burgers $1. Watched the rest of the game, ate my burgers and fries. When it ended, turned around from the bar and watched the girls. After 30 minutes of that, one girl, nice, older, long red hair asked if I wanted a dance but I passed. About 10 minutes later, this cutie, 25; chin length brunette har and a really nice body, all natural, was walking by. I made eye contact and she stopped and backed, got betwee my legs and looked at me and asked "can I play with it?" After I put my jaw back in place I said sure! As she played with it, she said "I'm going to name a price and you tell me if it's too high and we will see if we can come to an agreement". I asked do you mean a handy? She vigorously nodded her head so I asked how much. She said $125. I told her I don't like to pay for something I can do myself for free. I stop by and see what's what every 6 months to remind myself why I don't go there.

I had fun at Curves on 9/21, but my judgement may have been skewed. The dancers were hot, and a few were friendly. I had been having a rough day and I probably had an overly optimistic evaluation. The dancer I got a few dances from put her tongue in my ear when she introduced herself, and played with mr. Happy (through the pants) a bit during the floor dances. She hinted more was available in the champagne room, but I have a strict policy on bringing cash and not taking out more money after I get to a club. It's easy for me to let the little head do the thinking, I'm glad I didn't take out money to try to champagne room.

That said, it was nice to see an SC with that many dancers and a lot of customers. Venom and the Boat have been a little slow the last few times I went, and it's been two years since I've seen TDW that busy. The regulars I was sitting with described most of the dancers as very YMMV. I get the impression that some expect to get paid to sit and talk to you, and some others will be very friendly with a steep price for extras. I was happy getting a few hands-on floor dances, but I'll adjust my expectations next time I visit Curves based on advice from the senior members.

I even make it a habit that if I see one of the looser girls trying to scam a guy, I warn him if he goes to the rest room or I ask to speak to him about something and make him move away from her and lay it out on him and let him decide what to do.
