Alright folks, here's a good one. I think I might be grooming myself wrong when it comes to pedicures and stuff, I figured maybe it's time to get one done for me. But since there's a trend between the type of ladies that run nail salons and the type of ladies that work AMPs, I'm curious if anyone knows of some kind of "foot spa" AMP. Not worth the money, spent 30 minutes getting a weak massage only to be even more disappointed on the flip. Anyways only saw 1 girl late 40's maybe early 50's. Nothing more than H. E. With otc roaming.
Considering giving this place a second try in the near. Alas, it's a bit out of my way, and in a fairly dry part of town for alternatives I'm aware of (unlike my usual haunts, where multiple places exist in closer proximity).

Per a recent YoYo (Yi Chi) commentary, I believe "accommodating" is the right word, as was said. I made no claims to anything beyond that. Probably the most accommodating of any practitioner I've encountered yet. In terms of personability, she ranked pretty high too, but I wouldn't call her a super model by any stretch.

I did experience hot stones at a beautiful place on Powell.

I was in town on business, decided to stop by Lucky on Cornell after a stop by Bottoms Up resulted in no lunchtime ladies. Sigh. Mondays.

Asked for extras and she just chortled at me, then said "if you pay the price". I asked her what the price was, no answer. I did get a standard ending after she made it very clear she'd play with the boys when I was face down. Decided I'd flip myself over and see what she did. She did a LOT of teasing, which I both appreciated and found obnoxious as well, getting me close and then slowing down or stopping for a moment and then making this little chortling noise.
Decent massage, decent HE, no extras, left. 5 for the tip since at least she didn't have GPS, but I won't be back.

In for an hour of fun and agreed for the full meal deal but was only delivered a snack. I will not be going back to what otherwise was a top of the list destination.
Stopped by and found an older woman with b-cup and some highlights in her hair. Didn't have a lot of time so I opted for a 30 minute session. The massage itself was pitiful and only lasted about 5 minutes with her mostly rubbing my arms and scratching my back. There was some light teasing and fondling before the flip.
Menu included FS, BBBJ, and your standard ending. After a little negotiation I opted for a covered session for an additional 120.
It all seemed very mechanic and straight to business. I probably won't go back for that reason.

I also noticed they've changed their rate for an hour and it's gone from $60 to $70. I thought that was their differentiator from the other two parlors within walking distance.

I wasn't in the Portland scene much before 2020, question for the more experienced members:
In terms of practitioner quality, do you feel COVID has left an impact? Given many of these women start overseas, and likely fly into the major hubs in either NY or CA before migrating out to smaller markets like PDX, it seems COVID's effect on travel would have left a dent in all this.
I'm not a young guy, but I'm generally younger than most practitioners I've seen around town. I'm curious if this just a norm in this industry, or whether I'm seeing the effects of current events on this hobby (less people coming in, with the gems getting prioritized to larger markets, like LA or Seattle).
Just curious. A recent spat of "quality has gone down" commentaries prompted this line of thinking.
