Whose actually falling for this bs.
Just joined here recently-first time posting. I've been on that site for over 5 years-before the other review site wasn't viable anymore. I've had an incredible long term arrangement through that site and several really good ones. It has changed significantly in the last 2 years-way more fakes / flakes / scammers / backpage girls / onlne only and platonic. I prefer more consistent, ongoing type arrangements over the one and done so its far more difficult to find that these days. It takes a lot of effort to find a gem-far more effort than in years past. The fact that the monthly cost is not insignificant adds to the frustration. I've learned to not bother with the 22 and under crowd. Dabbled there with some success but they are just too flakey and more inclined to be tire kickers / want online / platonic.
I don't know how this person found me I using a texting app not my real number. Long story short someone texted me with screen shots of my profile, my wife's Facebook, my Facebook and my LinkedIn demanding large amounts of money not to expose me. Not sure who it is. I've bought a little time before sending money and hoping to get ahold of the police tomorrow morning. Need to find a way out of this.
Horrible hearing that! If you do find the person, please let us know what her profile is here and report her on SA. Best of luck to you!

If it only says online I will message them and ask what their idea of online only is. When they reply with text, pictures or no meets in person I screenshot their reply and report them. It does permanently block them but it gets them suspended until they change their profile and agree not to do it again and that future offenses can lead to permanent bans. If they look young / underage I will ask them if they will show a picture of their I'd to verify age and if they refuse I will report that too. No need for anyone to get in trouble and if they can't / won't provide SA verification they get banned. That is about the only way to get them gone that I have found.

Not saying this is your girl. But Red Flags and I wondered about her game. Googled pic to an Alexa Tomas photo. She is an antiques dealer living in Skokie and looking for a serious relationship. New account, etc.
Scrubbed my profile and realized a photo linked to my social media. Lesson learned.
Do you have a profile link to the "sb"?
Not sure who it would be I have been and no way to tell. If I do find out I will let everyone know. I have blocked the person from texting me. After some research if they expose me then they have no chance at getting money so I'm nervously waiting it out.

It was most likely through your pics. Did you try reverse searching on all your pics from your profile? LinkedIn and Twitter profile pics are common hits as they are all public with profile pics. Sometimes even old pics you may have had on previous profiles can come up cached.
Hope you can squash this and make it go away. They just want your money. Try to breath easy , they don’t really want to expose you it does nothing for them, they just want your money.
I couldn't imagine doing this SA stuff being married. The tracks covering would drive me nuts.
This is one of the things I fear the most. But they would be looking at some criminal charges if they went through with it so hopefully it's just a bluff. They're probably trying to pull the same thing with tons of other dudes. If they get even a quarter to send money, it's a success in their eyes. Pulling for you man. Keep us posted!

I had actually met her through Craigslist or Backpage. She made this long effort to extort money with threats of her trans frinds blanketing the neighborhood with flyers, calling wife, etc, etc.
I ignored her and eventially she went away, but returned exactly one year later with the same threats.

Need to find a way out of this.
HI, so, I had someone a few years ago pull the ole "I'm actually underage" and followed up with a few days of harrassing "police calls" and "attorney calls" from a male voice. So these guys as a team, worked to try to get me to send them money.
I would double check and triple the number they sent you the information from. Instead of someone you actually know, it maybe someone who isn't even local or in the country, just that the scam of this extortion idea I went thru, is getting stronger and worse.
I met someone on CL this summer, and found her again recently on SA. Complete psycho but so hot. She told me off again (as crazies do for no reason) so I just moved on. She is the type that could ruin you, I won't even share the profile as I don't need her searching and figuring out anything.
Long story short tho, if they are real, I would guess they are north of 30, as even the the younger girls are hot, bitchy, and play tons of games, I have found the 30 plus year old are crazier and more vindictive. (because they know, most decent guys can get girls better then them for free, anytime, where as someone hot and 18 is a commodity of sorts) I have since sworn off the 30 plus year olds, or Latinas for that matter, in the Chicago area at least on that site. (except for everyone fav billionaire, who is anything but crazy thus far imo).

Some of those only online and only pics girls, especially in college, (not so much this completely beaten up and over saturated market of Chicago) can be easily converted when you stay in touch with them enough. Maybe in Chicago not so much tho, it seems there are some desperate clowns out there ponying up money for pics or even less, just because they have money to kill. In smaller cities (not around here) I've had good luck with converting some of these pics only girls to something real.

Meet up for a $200 BBBJ, ended up switching to CFS at no up charge. She is down on her luck and used money to pay for hotel. She got kicked out of grandmothers house per her report. Pictures are her but doesn't look as good in person. Body is banging for sure. Tiny.
