I had a recent visit to Baymeadows and southside spa formally known as urelax.
I drew the American girl, she was nice and kind of plain Jane looking which is ok with me, I opted for the 30 minute massage it was a nice massage but no hint of any extras available. There was never a flip she only massaged my back and maybe the back of my legs a little, she did say next time go for an hour it's much better so I wonder about that. Has anyone had any extras at this place? There are 4 other Asian ladies that work there and I bet they work harder for tips.

I should have put this in the "Don't do, stay away" thread, but if you just want an ok massage and a lack luster Handy until the clock runs out then she is your goto girl.

Normally I am right there with you of course, but I have been to see Kristan, Lexi whatever name you want you use, 3 times already and I have never had a bad experience. She is sweet, kind and very nice to be with and her massages get the job done. I have a couple problem areas that need more attention (not there) and she is always glad to give them extra attention and help relieve the pain and tightness.
Obviously the "red flag" of changing names is there, but I know that things did not work out with the "Asia" experience and there has been mixed reviews there also, so she just is trying to distance herself from that situation and establish herself as one of the good ones we so much need and deserve out here on BP.
She and Rain have gone out on their own and look to be making a credible, safe and enjoyable location for us guys in the future and my hat is off to her for wanting a better place to work and more enjoyable as well. Treat her well, and I truly think she will treat you well.
As always, this is my opinion and like aholes, we all have one so to each their own, but I give her a 4 out of 5 and soon hope to give her a 5 rating.
Came across this review from you Doc to kirsten when she was under (Brandy) at platinum, seems to me like this is a situation where you maybe struck out with her so decided to get even on here. How does she start as your best then this. Another reason people show try for themselves. Instead of going off a review. See attachment.

I do not know what to think of palm tree anymore. I have been a regular there for quite a while. They have had some really fine providers, Nancy, Candy, Cherry, Sky, and Missu just to name a few. But when I stopped in recently I was so disappointed!
I drew Summer as my therapist, I had an inner feeling that I should have left when I first met her, but decided to give her a chance. Rushed service, did I mention that she rushes! Did not enjoy my visit at all! This is the second bad experience that I have had at this establishment! It will be a while before I return!
It wasn't just the rushing, attitude had a lot to do with it. The good ones know to treat you well, I always treat every lady well regardless of how she acts, I usually request someone else or just do not go back if service is bad. Unfortunately, it appears my go to AMP is deteriorating to the avoid category. What a shame, they were really dependable in the past. I will be avoiding till I see reports that they have new providers and have reestablished their reputation as the AMP to visit.

If the second therapist, Bebe is the one I remember from last year then she is worth a visit.

There is one asian lady there with a nasally Fran Dresher type voice who is very rude. I won't be visiting this joint again.
Just Noticed that Lily spa is now open! Folder ad under Backpage Under the body rubs section! Has anybody visited And sampled the lineup? Any help will be grateful! I will give it a try later this evening and report back!
Well, for once the proclamations appear to be true. Made my way to Lily's expecting to see some familiar faces but I was wrong. Mamasan Kim, formerly of Palm Tree, is no longer there replaced by another woman. I asked about the recent closures and management changes but she pled ignorance, "I no know..." Anyway she introduced me to Lucky, a tight spinner with a good attitude and playful technique. Overall service was commensurate with the earlier Lily's and Palm Tree at the standard prices. Lucky does have a very unique characteristic that I will not reveal here.
That office park area is often busy so if it looks like cars are stacked up, call and ask. This morning the parking lot was clobbered but no one was in the spa.
Looking for a new ATF.
One of the legit massage therapists has placed a new add with the same language, but she changed her name to Dorian.
It could be the market is so competitive there are changes in their practices.
If any of the old timers (some of us are that) has any new info please drop a pm.
I'll reciprocate as well as possible.

Good experience gets a good review and bad experience gets a bad review. I could praise someone today and trash them tomorrow, base solely on the experience of the day. In this case I followed the review of a fellow member to platinum and met "Brandy". Had a good experience and my review reflected. After that things went down hill. I gave her the benefit of a doubt with her issues with a parlor, but the name changes, phone number changes, and sketchy behavior caused me to look her differently. I did some digging and I reported as a warning to members. I don't discriminated, period. Like it or not, makes me no difference. Thanks for reading.

NavyMan, in this "industry" providers can go from amazing and special, to crazy and bitchy very quick. Bowden Girl is a really good example of this, she was the darling of the forums for a while, then she changed, happens all the time. With those changes we too have to update our reviews to reflect that.

Some will use a con-game to manipulate the situation to their advantage. Strippers have been doing this for years. "I'm dancing for my college tuition" or " I'm a single mom and my asshole baby daddy is a deadbeat" as they leave in a brand new mustang at the end if the night. Selling the possibility of becoming your next boyfriend or creating "Capt. Save'a'ho" complex is an age old method of increasing their income. Mongers are guilty of this same methodology that I call "True-Love". Critics of us members that give poor reviews of their True-love girl causes them to become defensive. Just as a public service announcement, Do Not Drink the Coolaid, drinking your own coolaid is even worse.
