One, it lets the female relax and gets her comfortable being around you (after all, you're most likely not dealing with a pro), so you have to gently guide them to the finish line.

Lure you in with everything you want, take offense at you observing something is off, slamming you for it.

The easiest way to take emotion out of it is to compare the length of "her" texts before and after things go south. The honey trap texts are short and exactly what you want to hear. The explanations of why you need to send money, subscribe, etc., are significantly longer. When it seems you're on to the scam you are slammed with personal insults as the final grasp at "her" salvaging the con. Total BS.
