I don't suggest a full remodel
Yeah, your logic is sound.
Actually, a lot of items you stated is what kept Blaze off my regular rotation for a long time. But this was when I could go to Pleasers, Foxy Lady or Babes as primary options.
With all of those gone, Blaze became #1 by virtue of attrition.
Of the items you mentioned, I think the only real feasible remodel would be a combination of removing the VIP and removing that downstaris hookah setup. But I'm betting there is at least some money being made from the hookah, so not likely to go. Doubt VIP gets much of anything, so that definitely could be another alcove for getting dances like the one they already have.
I think the pool tables brings some money, too. Not so much as cost of playing a game, but all of those dudes is drinking (something I don't do while there). I kinda agree that removing half would be good, but I can't see a setup of high tables and chairs put in its place would result in folks getting dances in those areas..
I'm not suggesting a full remodel that will turn it into a moneypit that would require more money / make it rain type. I'm just suggesting small stuff that will open up the floorplan. Remove the booths, replace with table tops and that would basically revert blaze back to the BMF days. They don't need to add, they need to subtract. The hookahs can be moved to the kitchen, they don't need a whole alcove for that. I agree with you that the VIPs should be converted into something more open. I still maintain the upstairs stage is overkill. I personally would rather see the downstairs pool tables remain while the upstairs ones are taken out. They could put a small back bar in that area with more seating. They could probably remove the female bathroom and fix the male bathroom and possibly expand to the female bathroom. If they did that, they could also remove the raggedy male bathroom downstairs and do something with that space. I agree that the downstairs ones don't really make for good dance area, but then again with the small downstairs stage, maybe it would make the downstairs stage more attractive.
Pinups has remodeled many times and not turned into a make it rain club. Same for Babes. I haven't been back to the old foxy lady since they remodeled.
When is Diamonds day shift?
This is all my personal opinion.
I think you are running into a dynamic that there are bigger spenders out in the world of the club when you have been there. Another problem is that I think you are associated V and PP. The two are different worlds with a lot of difference between girls beyond just their skin color and language. The clients are willing to pay more, the girls get more money, it's just a different financial world. Yes, I've seen lightning strike twice. You might get a stripper in her 20's that might give it up bare at pp for less than $100 invested before the otc, but I seriously doubt it.
I've known stripper chicks over my life that will give it away bare. The subtle approach has always been involved. There has been a ton of discussion involved, I mean a fuckton of discussion. There have been rules involved. The last thing I would want would be some pregnant stripper screaming at me. FYI, I don't see these girls dealing with guys in burner phones. I don't see a 3 am text from a burner phone with "how much for bare?" getting a favorable response from them, but that is just me. I can see that some girls would start at $2 k to see how big of a sucker is on the other end of the line. That's how negotiation works.
I hear ya, it's definitely different amongst clubs. I first started off at TT for a few months, and a big culture shock when I went to V (for the better mostly). Since I have options & slightly more confident, I'm trying to get lucky and score a PP girl for OTC, not even bare.
Does anyone know when the best time to go to Diamonds is? Would have to be after 6 pm on weekdays, or anytime Sat. Is it like V dayshift where the Latinas go until 8 pm? Would like to know the cover / parking fees too. Thanks!
