General Reports

For those of you interested in participating in a serious study, there is a survey being conducted by Christine Milrod, PhD, of mature, baby-boomer hobbyists over 60. She writes that this is an "understudied group of hobbyists, and yet they comprise a very important part of our hobbying community. We need to hear from them. I emailed her and she responded with a link to the survey. It took me about 20 minutes to answer the, roughly, 100 questions. It is completely anonymous. The statistical significance of the survey improves when a higher number of the target group participate. So the good doctor has allowed me to share the survey link with other hobbyists. If you are over 60 and interested in taking the survey, send me a PM and I'll send you the link to the survey. Or you can contact Dr. Milrod directly through the website. She's very prompt in returning emails. This is a blind scientific study. The results will likely be published in a scientific journal in late 2014 after it goes through peer review.

The survey closes after 200 responses. Roughly 170 gents have responded so far.

An increasing number of providers are requesting the name of the monger that referred a new customer. Jasmine, Torry, LM, Nina, Angela / Brittany, and Mandy are just some of the providers that come to mind. I have received three calls in the last two weeks from providers asking me if I knew a Larry, Bob, or Lee. The provider then had to call the customer back and find out their SexGuide screen name and then calls me back to tell me the screen name. I will not do this anymore because I don't feel it is safe for the provider. An undesirable could give a screen name like LonelyGuy, Scooter, or Lefty and I unwittingly could tell the provider that the guy is ok. I will no longer give an ok unless I get a pm from the monger telling me his intention and the first name he plans on using with the provider. I don't think this is too much to ask in exchange for using my name.

Many of the girls seem to know each other so I would assume that word gets around. However, many providers, particularly SW, do not have access to the internet.

As far as the checking references goes, I expect that is just a safety precaution. I have overheard many 'where do I know you from again?' conversations while driving providers back to their spots so I think it is a common occurrence. I only share numbers which I have been preapproved to share and then I always ask that the callers say they got the number from 'Jack'. The provider is aware that calls referred by 'Jack' are not necessarily trusted and should be treated as first encounters with a new customer.

However, I have got my share of angry texts and emails to believe that the vast majority of providers read SexGuide. Even Mandy, who is new to the business, texted me within 30 minutes of my post about her, thanking me for the nice words. Out of the list I mentioned, only Nina and LM have not talked to me about something posted on SexGuide.

I've been asked for Jasmines number since my review of her at least 5 x. A few others as well. My response has been, not without her permission. Problem solved. If they have a website I'll direct to that. If she calls me, I tell her flat out, I would never, not without your permission.

I talked to her couple of weeks ago, and she has a BF now. She being so sweat, it does not surprise me. I respect / believe that and deleted her number.

I lost track of how many times German SWs seem to have perfect English during initial negotiations only to have things break down into a series of misunderstandings around what 'sex' entails once the money has changed hands.

Kind of like comparing Lima beans to purple crayons. Quest and disposable hobby phones are general items that could be utilized in the Milwaukee area. The only way the international stuff would be pertinent to Milwaukee is if you chose to fly the provider in to Milwaukee for your fun. Unfortunately the conversation thus far hasn't provided any such tips or tricks to keep in mind when doing so.
