Massage Parlor Reports

I agree with you when it comes to dog ugly or 60 yo masseuses and terrible massages. I'd go even further n say to either walk out or tip little if anything then report the place on the board. Bad quality n bad service is unacceptable n shouldn't be tolerated! Driving up quality through more informed decisions is IMO the true power of the board. We need to send a clear message with our $$$.

Now what about the opposite?? U find a gem & get great quality or great service. I agree with niño here. Tip the best u can maybe an extra 10 or 20 over usual if u have it.

But for sure we should avoid visiting n tipping bad quality.

Paying a door fee of more than .6-.65 is ridiculous in this environment. There are several places that only charge .5 for the hour. As far as the HE goes, anything more than .4 for HR is a disservice to everyone else on this board.

Considering that the actual massage service in most of these places is mediocre at best and laughable at worst, spending $ including HR is a pretty steep price to pay. I don't even want to get into the age and looks of a lot of providers.

They know why we're there, and we know why we're there. It's not too much to ask for reasonable service at reasonable prices. It's possible to keep costs at a manageable level. If you've ever considered visiting a high end or hotel spa, DON'T! It is a pure rip off! Just FYI, the 'door fee' usually starts at 120. The masseuse will fuss over keeping you covered as if you are in the backroom of a church and the preacher is watching through a 1 way mirror. The massage is many times worse than you'd get at our beloved top choices for massage. The masseuse avoids massaging any where near Mr. Johnson (I mean many won't even massage your abs or upper thigh)! The ONLY positive is that it's usually done in a nice room. Oh and to top it off they usually take a 20% tip mandatory (but your free to give more if you are brain damaged).

Candy is new. She is from California. She is between 26 to 32. She has a butterfly tattoo just above the p. hair. She is well kept. She also has a small sun tattoo on her left leg by the knee. Listen... I am not a newby or a sap. I tip 60 for a HE a) because I found someone who is cute and provides excellent service everytime (Including the first time when she did it without asking).... and b) because I can afford it.

I agree with Wrigley. It seems like we are on the same page. Since we don't have the same incomes, we have to pay what we think is appropriate. Some examples from places where I was a regular before I moved to Chicago.

In place number one (in a southern state), I was a regular and I tipped well. One Sunday afternoon my then "regular" professional surprised me with "her girlfriend" for an extra long session. I had not seen that coming. What we did was quite a bit more than merely a "four hand massage."

In place number two, downstate in Illinois, my regular was going to be gone but wanted me to know that if I came by I would be "taken care of" and she also assured me that I should come by. I did go by, and the "substitute" greeted me with a "so you're Gus." It was late on a Thursday. The substitute turned off the sign, locked the door, and invited me to spend the night (the girls there slept in a back room). I spent the night. Fun.

Same downstate place. I usually called before I visited. Out of courtesy I called to say I wouldn't be coming by because I had a cold. I called on a Saturday. My regular felt bad about that, and wanted to know if she could come by my place to check on me the next morning. I lived about 25 miles from the place, but the next morning she was knocking on my door as promised. She had some chicken soup and some other really delicious Korean foods. She insisted on cleaning my place up (it was a bit disorderly as I was all wrapped up on my couch feeling like crap). She also insisted on "massaging" little Gus (because she said he needed care too). That was above and beyond the call of any duty.

Take away point--if you tip cheap, they know. But if you are a regular and generous and respectful, you will come out far ahead.

Just so you know, my usual minimum tip is $. In the past year I have several times gone $$ and $$$. One time I went $$$$$ and it was well worth the experience.

Went to the LMP at 2841 W Cermak Sunday. Girl answering phones was only one available. Cute, talkative and friendly, but she needed to lose some weight. Experience was similar to previous posts: asked permission to wash 'down there' during TS, asked about other MPs I've been too, complemented my on my size., and offered 50/80 for HJ/topless HJ. I liked that she was very forward about services, no whispering or pretend shyness. Had a good session but saw a real hottie on my way out, I never seem to get the hot girl my first time.
