The original GT40's were classified a GT"40" because they were 40" tall. The new GT's are slightly taller and I was able to fit into the one I almost bought but didn't due to other concerns.

Personally I think the new ones are a superior car but, The original cars are worth 10 x as much and much rarer or course.
