I just got back from my wlmart and this is what I found.
Verizon has a prepaid plan phone is $18. 88 with $10 of air time
Cost $2 a day only if you make or get a call same with tex.
And tex is $.02 each and calls are unlimited you can also get more time as low as $15 and that is good for 30 days.
I do not know if you can get it in vegas so look befor you go
