Will post field report on trip
I'm not sure about everyone, but my experience has been FS, though always covered. I usually go to AMP's in Mesa, or sometimes Tempe. Mesa seems to be cheaper. Good luck, be careful.
MA / RI is a freckle on many states size wize. Will be staying closer to Scottsdale / northern side of Phoenix.
Highway maps. Look good to get all around the area.
Funny see tons of AMPs advertising in Glendale and interesting to see no feedback.
It appears to be south side of city Tempe / Mesa.
Thanks to the folks that replied to my topic.
I also will consider a BP ad if my research finds anything promising.
I will try not to make my Boston accent obvious and I ll leave my sleeveless hoodie at home.
Maybe I ll wear a Red Sox hat and get more sympathy than patriots hate. Schilling is on the radio a lot in Boston. I wonder if he is liked in the area from his D backs days?
Actual raids? Or Code violations?
Hey man no apologies needed. I've grown frustrated as well.
Seems like places are getting shutdown every week. I'm so cautious right now I don't know where to visit anymore.
I just might bow out of the "hobby".
We see local LE / civic groups have better success shutting down anplaxe on code / licensing issues. The local health inspector simply asks the lady to present credentials. Or there may be more regulatory safety / health code violations.
Also LEO periodically send plain clothes to places getting complaints of too much trafffic to neighboring businesses.
Legit Massage Experiences?
So recently I have gone to an AMP that is generally known as legit in many review sites and had a good time after a few tries. A buddy of mine swears he got a hand job from a massage girl at a chiropractor. These events made me wonder.
If any of you guys have had similar experiences and would care to share them? To me these experiences greatly exceed the average AMP massage where you know that the end will contain a handy.
Ol Bubba.
Bad Experience at "Oriental Massage" on Curry Road
Since getting married 5 1/2 years ago, I only visit an AMP once or twice a year and mostly for the massage and possibly a HJ at the end. But my emphasis is a very good massage. I always pay for an hour because I believe from experience going back 8 years that it does lead to a better massage as 30 minutes seems to get to "turn over" much quicker.
Anyway, after work I stopped at "Oriental Massage" on Curry Road. Worst experience EVER. It's just a ripoff place as they go straight for the extra services at very high recommended tips. Anyway, let me give you the full details of my experience.
I arrived at 5:30 PM after work and walked inside. I was told. 45 for 30 minutes or. 70 for an hour. This is a little more than the standard. 4 to. 6 that I'm used to, but it's been awhile so maybe the rates have gone up. As I was hesitant, the woman at the window said an hour includes table shower and sauna with massage. Ok, I paid for an hour.
I was taken to a room, told to disrobe and the girl would be in shortly to take me to my table shower. She came and was a 6 as her body appeared to be better but her face wasn't too attractive. She took me to the shower room and this is the only part that was good. She had me lie down (both sides) and she scrubbed every inch of my body and hosed me down good with the warm water. Then she dried me off with a towel. This was starting to look promising.
She took me back to the room and has me lie on my stomach. She started lightly rubbing the tips of her fingers over my body. It felt good but wasn't a massage. Then after about 2 minutes, she told me to roll over. She then did the same lightly rubbing of her finger tips over the front of my body. This went on for like another minute.
Then she stops and starts asking me what type of service I want. She makes the typical hand motions and lets me know it's. 7 for a HJ and $. 50 for a BJ. I responded that I'd really like a massage. This is where we were in a completely different place. She wasn't going to give me a massage and I wasn't going to pay her service rates. I offered. 4 for a HJ and she agreed but wanted the money first. Ok, I got her the money.
This is where I believe she is probably great at camping and living off the land. Because her HJ was so fast I thought she was trying to start a fire. I asked her to slow down and she just ignored me. Well, the conclusion came although not at all satisfying.
By this time I know it hasn't been an hour and I'm guessing it hasn't been more than 20 minutes. So I said that I paid for an hour massage. Her response is that I'm free to get dressed and leave or spend the remainder of the hour in the whirlpool sauna that is in the corner of the room. She also tells me next time to bring a lot more money.
I got dressed to leave. I then looked at my watch to see it was 5:55 PM. A total of 25 minutes from the time I walked in the door until I walked out the door.
In this situation, I could have saved myself. 25 by paying for 30 minutes, but then I wouldn't have had the table shower which was the only pleasing part of the visit.
I found the place a total ripoff as there's no attempt to provide a massage. It's extra services only.
Oriental on Curry. Total ripoff. Locals and tourists stay away
Somehow my post didn't go through. Finished a visit to the zoo and saw Orienral was close by. I should have taken the ride to at least try massage 10.
Somer a thin woman 40 ish was somewhat cold and not friendly. Even tried to avoid doing TS. Had to say "what about the shower?" She thinks she has a pidgeon from the east she can shake down. Minimal effort on massage and quickly wanted me.
To flip.
I get the "costs more compared to east". Gives me the 100/200/300 level of service prices ". Told her all I spend would be 60 or I would simply go she says she "will do her best". At this point I have lost all interest in her and her cold fish attitude. I was quite pissed off, which is saying a lot me. I would put it on my top 3 "worst ever" experiences in the past 20+ years. The place was quite slow in mid afternoon there was no mamasan to ask how things went. Unless "Somer" was the "ajhussi" in charge?
I plead to the Phoenix hobbyist community to stay away from places like this. I see also another recent post on a bad experience.
Here too.
Place isn't about good service. It's about upsell with putting in minimal effort.
