I did a quick Valley cruise and saw a couple too many police cars so I headed downtown. The Valley seems to be a little more patrolled the past month or so.

Now, there's 4000 homeless people, just bumper to bumper everywhere you turn, the Midnight Mission takes up an entire city block, and you're lucky to see 8 girls in two hours of cruising. I think we take too good care of our homeless now, and no one's truly destitute. Some girls might be hungry at 2 AM, but only because the soup kitchen is closed at that hour. Homeless people used to sleep on newspapers, and now the shelters get tents donated. There's church groups bringing food and blankets all the time, and there's even a program to get free cell phones.
