Kapa, I think we're both right. The Kalakaua/Fern intersection is sort of where Kalakaua curves, so it can create a little confusion. I grew up in McCully and always referred to the other corner (currently a vacant lot I think) as the Diamond Head/mauka corner, since that corner is closer to the Diamond Head end of Kalakaua.
