When I was married for 20 years, sex was less than an annual event. I could write a book on all the excuses, I finally just gave up.

Unfortunately when you go from two to four times a week for several months to nothing for three to four months, because one of her health issues flares up, it is no fun. Not many guys can say this, but I should have thanked my mother-in-law before she passed away for my wife letting me seek professional help. My wife's mother told my wife many times that it was my fault your dad got prostate cancer. My mother-in-law said it was because she did not give him enough "relief" (she could not say the word sex). My wife would feel a little guilty when she caught me masturbating. She said it was not fair I had to masturbate, because of her health issues. That is when she said I could get professional help instead of DYI if we could afford it.
