So, in the big picture, it's a nothing burger. However, high risk people do still need to be very careful. So, it's up to you to decide if you're willing to take the risk of possibly exposing the high risk people you live with.

On the other note, if you guys are seriously worried about getting covid which you should be then its pretty simple, dont see any providers at this time.
Because if you have underlying medical conditions and you get covid, you my friend may find yourself 50/50 between life and death. Covid is highly transmitted viral disease and causes a variety of complex symptoms compared to the seasonal influenza virus. Its transmission rate is 3-5 times higher than influenza.
And based on current evidence, even younger patients and without underlying medical issues are getting sick but has a lower mortality rate than someone who is already sick or immunocompromised to begin with.
Monger at your own risk. Providers are doing the same and are very worried but they dont have no choice. They cannot file for unemployment benefits. They gotta work and continue providing services to us to live!
The lockdown was put in place to prevent a mass surge of sick patient. Just like what happened in NY, can you imagine 500 people lining up at the hospital to be seen? A local ER can only hold up to 30-50 pts at a time and there are typically only 200-250 beds available in the hospital for admissions.
So if you are sick or have any symptoms please stay home, get tested and quarantine for 2 weeks before you monger back :)
