I agree I probally technically committed assult; however speed is essential, we must be quick on our feet and cool under fire. When we monger there is always a risk. Mongering is a contact sport.

The "body shot" pic from the BP ad referenced in Old Monger's post (609 area code) probably not your girl. If you "tineye" the body shot pic, you'll get no less than 16 hits (all from some spanish language site) that includes the face with the body. Nonetheless, if your gal's body is reasonably close to that pick, she's a winner in my book.

Pierre[/QUOTE]I saw Angel a few times years ago and I saw Lynn on a regular basis for years when she lived in Carroll county and Woodlawn. A few years ago she said Angel was seriously ill. Not sure how she is now. Lynn was a tortured soul with a big heart...a sweet person but her addiction and the bad decisions and demons that go with it were just as large. Despite her overwhelming situation she was always upbeat and positive. I often wondered how different her life might have been if she had been taken out of the wrong environment. It all caught up to her in the end. She was sentenced to 3 years in jail and she escaped in the only way she could.

OK gents, please help me out here. I haven't been to Balto on a regular basis since 2003 so my memory is a little fuzzy. I used to cruise Patapsco and pick up SW on Washington Blvd, go north up to a park (factory on corner) turn left, go across a bridge and then presumably I was on Wilkens? If I couldn't find anyone there, I'd get on Patapsco again, head east and end up in Brooklyn/Curtis Bay. I remember a Pontiac Ave. or something a block away off Patapsco.

I've had my number of close calls in the past, but as Big Red stated "this is a contact sport". We've all seen the headlines: Man found shot in the head slumped over steering wheel in strange neighborhood. Man's body dumped in industrial area after alleged car jack. Man found stabbed in his car on vacant lot, possible robbery. Man found in woods stabbed multiple times. When we hear the stories, we know what's up. Old age has hardened my edges and opened my eyes. Just when I think I heard it all, I read a story like this. Be advised, it is not for the faint of heart, but neither is the hobby. After reading this story, I've decided to rotate out my favorite east side loop sandwich for the next few months.
