Not to mention union dues, state and local taxes. I work out of town and I'm forced to live in affordable motels. I work hundreds of feet in the air, around dangerous equipment, breathe toxic chemicals, witnessed deaths and serious accidents. I have been hit by a semi and have fallen 25 feet to the concrete. I have to get weeks of training every year. Wear and tear on a vehicle, mine has over 300,000 work related miles. I have pain in every part of my body, carpal tunnel, knees are destroyed, bulging disks, lung disease and arthritis after 31 years of service.

We are ok with affordable and average. This is especially true if a guy is married because he has to explain to wifey where the money went.
