Has this ever happened to anyone here?
I had just finished a successful VIP with a regular and we started chatting it up afterwards but then she mentioned a specific about my job. It put me off because I never volunteer specifics about me, just vague in-generals. I do use my real first name and mentioned that I'm am engineer which is true but sanitation to aeronautics who knows. I played it normal like I didn't hear it but my mind was like WTF; is she stalking me, did she call into my office, is she and her boyfriend going to rob my house, ect? None of these things are a worry to me because I'm single and my first line of defense are my 2 Rottweilers that love daddy since they were pups. I'm guessing my cel or car plate.? Fucking internet. Anyway, haven't visited her since. I've been screened by an escort but who would have thunk by a dancer, imo.
I think this can go 2 ways.

1. Good-looking, she finds you attractive, you think she'd date you outside the club = she probably just likes you and researched you. You probably gave up more info than you think. In the future chill-out on details from here on out, play dumb, don't take anything she says seriously, don't act shocked or surprised, never discuss how much money you make / how much you have, use a fake name (not in this case but future new dancers. If you end up being cool you can spill the beans and tell them your real name, they'll understand the safety aspect). If you guys are cool I'd just straight up ask her "how'd you know about that stuff?" Hell, I'm assuming she's attractive since you're dropping some pretty coin on her, see what she's like outside the club / ask her out. If you don't like the vibe anymore just keep avoiding her or her shifts entirely. Sounds like she has your cell, don't respond to texts or phone calls.
2. If you look like Quasimodo / she wouldn't look at you twice in public = CHANGE YOUR LOCKS, BUY A SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEM, HIDE A GUN IN EVERY ROOM, YOUR SITUATION IS COMPROMISED.
Just kidding, you'll be fine, just refer to the tips in number 1. Hopefully you live far so they won't be tailing your ass. Jk.
Is your cellphone public? Like if you type it in google will it show up as something? I'd get a burner app on your phone, $10-$20/ month to have a burner number is a good safety net. I don't mind having social media (my line of work it's not critical) but if you can manage it, delete social media or at the very least remove any photos with your face / identifying info it.
edit. Oops, to answer your question, yes it's happened to me. Also if your position is LinkedIn-level make sure that's all nice and stalker-proof.
