I have been digging and digging and digging, looking for something about Tui Na that went beyond reporters just copying and pasting the TPD media release. This is all I could find, and it was very well-hidden.
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
New details are emerging on what police are calling a house of prostitution located inside a strip mall on the northwest side. (Man), 69, and his ex-wife (Woman), 61, are accused of running the illegal operation at Tui-Na Asian Body Works, 2040 West Ina Road.
On May 3, a multi-agency investigation spearheaded by the Tucson Police Department closed in the business and two homes associated with the owners.
Now the massage parlor sits vacant with a handwritten sign on the front door stating, By order of the Tucson Police, this business is closed.
"It's been kind of well known that something was going on in there, said (female), a concerned mother who takes her daughter to a dance studio in the same plaza. "There's been police there many times before."
Precisely why (male) of Psychosomatic Fitness, located immediately next to the parlor, did not think twice when undercover cops surrounded the business this week.
"Honestly, I thought it was exactly what it was," (male) said shaking his head. "Something going on with prostitution."
Tui-Na Asian Body Works is a licensed massage parlor. Looking at several online reviews, however, therapists apparently did a lot more behind closed doors.
One provocative ad Tucson News Now found describes their services as "Mutually Beneficial." An anonymous reviewer online writes: "They do offer a FULL menu! If that's what you're looking for...come here."
"There were sexual acts being performed in there for money," Tucson Police Sgt. (cop) said. "The owners were aware of that and were receiving part of that money for those illegal acts." Illegal acts that could include human smuggling and human trafficking, officials said.
Federal authorities including Immigration and Customs Enforcement are involved in the ongoing investigation.
Sources told Tucson News Now up to 12 women worked at the business seven days a week with customers leaving sometimes after midnight. What's worse is there are multiple businesses nearby that cater to families and young children.
"Because with organized prostitution, obviously that's a crime -- and who knows what else is going on in there, if there were drugs around?" said (male #2), a concerned father who brings his son to the nearby swim school twice a month.
(female) agreed saying, "We're here five nights a week for dance and there's a swim school and karate. There's kids everywhere. And to think that this happened right where our kids are walking all the time is very horrifying."
A nearby business owner, who asked to remain anonymous, thinks some of the women who worked at the parlor may have lived inside the business as well.
"I saw these girls all hours of the night," the business owner said. "In front of the store, in the back alley. (They were) very skinny and barely spoke English."
"I even saw them squatting back there (in the alley) once and cooking with a wok. It's really pretty sad if you think about it," he said.
At this point there is no indication the women were being held against their will, officials said.
As of May 5, their immigration status was still being confirmed.
Officials said additional arrests and charges are pending.
I'd like to offer my two cents.
First off, Tui-Na has been there for at least 10 years. The swim school, karate (I didn't even know there was karate there), and everything else mentioned in this story came along after that. So, this whole angle about kids illicits zero sympathy from me. Those business owners should have done their due diligence prior to opening if it meant so much to them to not be located near such a business. To the best of my recollection, the pizza place, Discount Tire, the bike shop, and Circle K are the only businesses who can claim to have been there as long or longer than TN has been.
I went there many times, and never once saw anything to indicate drugs were being bought, sold, or used in TN or even near it. Not once. And, yeah, I do know the signs to look for. Not once have I ever seen a masseuse there high or with track marks.
And, up to 12 women? Give me a break. I have never seen more than four there, and that was only once. It was usually either two or three. And very skinny? Not all of them. A few of them were the opposite and could have benefited from losing a few pounds. Customers leaving after midnight? Well, maybe if someone walked in shortly before they locked the doors at 10 and bought two and a half hours. I could see that happening now and then, but often? I doubt it. Now that it has been brought up, I wish I did that.
The only part of the story that I believe has a little bit of merit is the possibility that the masseuses were living in there. Sometimes while I was waiting I was herded in to the employee break room, where I saw a lot of canned food and hanging laundry. Maybe that means they were living in there, but I never saw anything that looked like a bed. They did cook on site. Some times I smelled it and it was not pleasant. But, people cook where I work, also. It doesn't mean that they're living there.
This story is outrageous due to the fact that, to the best of my knowledge anyway, Tui Na was a good neighbor. I'm certain that both TN and its clientele went out of their way to maintain a low profile. I never once heard of TN, its employees, its owners, or any of its customers ever disturbing or disrupting the neighboring businesses (or their customers) in any way. If any of you guys know of any incidents, please share them with me as I'd love to hear about them. But, I really don't think it ever happened.
Hell, even the PCSD substation was a neighbor of theirs for all these years, and there's never been an alleged problem until now. Not in the same strip mall, but right behind it.
I just wanted to call out this story on its bullshit and blatant slant. This is the only place where I could really do it.
I guessing this was all a boondoggle or a hoax. Sent an email and two weeks later haven't heard a peep back from "Marissa".
Curious has anyone else tried to contact Marissa and received any response or actually managed an appointment with her?

Chloe
Got a massage from Chloe couple of months ago.

I saw Chloe awhile ago.
I don't like leaving a negative review because I understand this is how people make their money. But the massage was terrible. She didn't even try. The Entire massage (1 Hour) was a one-handed light rub while she texted someone continuously. I almost ended it, and wanted to tell her to just keep the money. The only good thing was there was a HE available at the end (which wasn't very good).
Perhaps she was just having a bad day, I don't know. If she wants to respond and give an explanation; fine, I won't argue. But to refer to herself as a LMT (implying that's what her customers will receive for their money) is fraud.

She responded to suggested pressure and even used an electric hand massage gadget for a few minutes to great effect. Added sensual elements that I think were spot on. Seems YMMV.

Gabi
Does anyone remember Gabi? She also went by Jasmine. Here is one of her old postings.

Does anyone know if she is posting under a different name? She was one of my ATFs. She was working with another girl but that girl was moving out of town and that's the last I saw of Gabi. If anyone has any contact info for her I'd appreciate it.
I saw Gabi several times in 2011-2013.
She was a consistently fun date (with a great body for a 30 something MILF), except for the last time (July 2013).
After that marginal hour, I never tried to see her again.

Personally I am really wishing that Liana were around still these days, he was a great date.

Last time I saw Gabi she said Isabelle was returning to Mexico so she wouldn't be renting a place anymore. I think she just got out of the game. She was a guaranteed good time everytime I saw her.

Disappointing Sessions.
http://tucson.backpage.com/TherapeuticMassage/trinity-massagesoothing-relaxing-massage-520-744-0433/36954244
Went to trinity spa recently.
Got an Ok massage. Nothing extra offered.
After the massage, she said "ok, you're done. " No flip, nothing.
Very Dissapointing.
Afterwards, I went to Mei spa. Unfortunately, the place smelled horrible. It's smelled like they cooked very spicy food a week ago, and forgot to take out the trash!
Needless to say, I didn't stay.
