I am also finding this topic interesting as well. I am willing to pay a little extra for a more a more enjoyable time. It is worth it for me.

I have not been to AC lately, but perhaps I should and try it out based on the reviews others have suggested.

What an interesting set of questions. First of all ... that segment of market is very segmented.

#1 There are traveling indyes, and they starts from $.8 hourly.
#2 There are indyes who are resident on permanent basis, and usually they starts from $$.5 hourly.
#3 There are agencies, which starts from $$.0 hourly.
#4 Other, and I'll not consiter them

I beleive that You will find #1 @cheap hotel in 99% CASES, and #2 and #3 - they do rent apartments often.

Advantages of that segment are : You may get combination of two for one hour, like: 2 pops, or 2 bjobs, or pop+bjob.

Goung to that segment absolutely means no TS. Shower is offered, but, in the case of #2 and #3, You, probably, will get fresh towel, and, probably, You may get [s]slightly[/s] used towel in the case of #1.

No hot towels, and cleaning could be done with just a cleenex or brownies, but You always can get second and third shower.

Mediocre massage, and usually it is too short.

Rushing - especially for #1.

GFE - I know couple of asian providers, who could be considered as real GFE. However, I've got that GFE effect on secons/third visit, and through extended hours. It is very possible get GFE with #2, it is possible with #3, but it is rather rare at #1

I would say - that segment of market is very different from AMP. And I am much more frequent @ AMP because of it has many advantages, like: good hygiene, good massage, stable service and good peoples.

However, going with #2 on long term basis could be very interesting, with absolutely no rushing, no time watching, dfk's, conversations, candles, vines, etc, etc, etc ...

Look for your GFEs in the #2 segment, indeed! True when you are lucky to connect with her a bit.

Wow, a lot has changed while I was out of the country. Granted, I never enjoyed the DC scene much and rarely went, but always planed on visiting the 8th st place. Is the Green door still open? I can't believe 1829 is closed. I'm curious about the N. Cap place though, as it's new to me.

Anyway, I guess my post is really to gloat, as I had the pleasure of visiting Thailand during my travels. After that, I don't think I'll ever be able to step back into the DC underground. I would advice you all to take a little trip if possible. Plane tickets are not that expensive and you will have some amazing experiences for fraction of the DC cost. Not everyone can get away, I know, but for those that can, it's money a lot better spent than in DC.

I've never been to an AMP before and am considering giving it a shot. I moved to DC a few months ago so I don't really know too many people here (well enough to bring up this subject anyways.) So I figured I'd see if I can get some assistance here. I assume PMs are probably the best way to go about it, but I was just hoping to get some general info on some places to go, and the best way to go about it. I am an absolute noob in this kinda thing so I would appreciate any help.

I remember that place...right above the Subway Sammich Shop, near the firehouse. Great talent. Very nice atmospehere too... has it relocated? The mamsan was a great provider as well.

These independant Tantric massage providers on BP and other places, esp the ones that are charging up to $$$ or $$$$ for a 60 or 90 min tantric massage, or mutual touch tantric massage. Are they worth it? What are you getting for a tantric massage, esp. for a $$$ tantric massage?
