I keep a pretty low profile on the boards but from my experience, and I've been doing this a long time, unless there's an issue of streetwalkers causing problems or there is an election in the future and an incumbent wants to grab a quick and easy headline, they leave these things alone. Usually, when these girls get popped it's for drugs or being a nuisance at a hotel. Asheville can't have the tourists being targeted and feeling threatened. The crimes against them and the property crimes are their focus.
