It all depends on the lady
I have encountered a recurring problem for which I would appreciate your input. How far in advance do others set their appointments? Is it common practice to make plans a week or two in advance? Or does everything tend to be more spur of the moment?
I personally prefer to set a schedule some time in advance. But I am on a rotten roll of making contact only to be given the brush off of "call me the day of. " Do I just need to reorient my thinking to expecting more spur of the moment?
I have 2-3 providers at the top end of my scale that I have to schedule in advance in order for it to work, because they simply aren't available on short notice. It also gives me something to look forward to with them. And then there are 2-3 providers I see more on the spur of the moment, as they are more available on short notice. Very rarely do I plan the day of, and if I do, it's because I get a text that they are returning to town and are available.
