So I discovered this hobby about 3 years ago. Late bloomer I guess. Everything I know about it I learned here. What to pay, how to act etc. I've only been to a AMP 4 times. ABC was the first with Leeza (then Far East twice with a popular girl here but I forgot her name. Last time was at OS with Kara. Good times. I only go once maybe twice a year. Anyway it's that time again but you fear it's not possible out there from what I have been reading. I only want FS places so am I out of luck?
My last trip was not to hot, always pays to drop a name. Even if the girl is busy mama gets ya the next closest. Looking as usual for a skinny little spiner with great calves that does not ruin the session negotiating. Names if requested to be withheld will be honored.

I usually prefer FE but they were busy so headed to Harmony. Saw Michelle, a veteran AMPer whose apparent age increased in proportion to the quality of the lighting. But nice looking and probably my age or younger (30's-40's) so I went with it. She was all pro. Not in a mechanical sense. She was fun and pleasant, cheerfully went about her business, that being separating me from some cash and bodily fluids, maybe a little routine-seeming, but appeared happy to have the work and to care about doing it well. It felt like working with a hired hand who takes pride in their work, like a thoughtful and friendly plumber.
So in other words, a decent session, no negotiations or upsell, which was nice, but not the elusive peak exotic sensual ecstatic experience I've had here and there and keep chasing. And keep chasing I will. Total damage was the usual 60/140.
Had a recent visit to FE and left very happy. I prefer a thin 20 something looking young lady with a nice tight body. Many times I have left after seeing a line up and not found anyone close to what I'm looking for. That can be a little awkward, but I would rather deal with that than (not to sound conceited) an hour with someone who I feel should be tipping me. So FE is currently a mixed bag. They have a few older eh thanks but no thanks types, a couple in the middle, and two absolutely gorgeous young ladies. I have met with one of them twice and each time is better than the last, and the last one rocked my world. Everything was standard as far as house / tip / cover, but she went the extra 10 miles to make sure I was happy. She even gave me treats to take home. So funny reading about guys bringing donuts and candies etc; I was sent off with a bag full of mochi and other Korean sweets. Treat them nice and it will be returned. Bottom line if you don't see what you like walk and come back another time. Right now they have two of the best quality ladies I've seen in a very long time.
First time visiting this place, In one word: good. I told mamasan this was my first time at the place.
She showed me a room and a nice girl by the name of "Lucky", thin, very pretty, about 30-34 years old but she did not look it, took care of me.
A very soft skin she as that I have to touched later. She told me to be comfortable, and told me where to put my clothes and off I go with her for a TS.
In my way to go to the TS, I saw three more girls, two were nice looking and a small one girl, just pure knocked out. A mouthwash was waiting for me.
I took the Listerine, do some gargles and spit and then face down to the table. Lucky was very thorough with her clean method, I do not remember my ass to be so cleaned.
After that, a little sauna for 5 minutes and then massaaaaage. She did a good massage and I really enjoyed. She also grab the ceiling bars and walk on my back, felt good, just a little strong.
After 45 minutes, she asked me to turn over and keep my voice quiet. She did the HE signal and I told her I have. 6 for her and she say ok.
15 minutes later I was done. Hot tower, dress, a little water from her, a hug and a kiss and I left happy. I went about 4:15 PM. Beat the traffic, it is worth it! Total damage .6 + .6

Hit far east, lot was packed, called ahead and asked for the girl PP posted about and another, was told the other totally booked and PP's fifty minutes. I showed fifty later, more parking was available but still a full lot, inside most rooms unoccupied.
Met girl requested, skinny spinner but sorry PP, using the K girl formula bear minimum 30's if not 40's shower great walk on back all points hit. Asked if I want everything. Sorry guys that's rare for me, got a nude HJ and went well only issue was second shift of mongers and bell kept ringing and mamasons dog barking. After finish and cleanup we sat and talked. She is going to California for the winter then back, they figure two years until the rules change like Providence. Also with the 100 nude hi, 120 BJ and 140 FS pay scale the girls don't mind. Some girls even like the break from getting nailed all the time. . 6 house 1. 0 nude HJ. With similar info will repeat, saw a mix of girls in the hall so lack of Intel a line up is a must.

Drove by what had been NMS until the ordinance went into affect. New sign on the outside now reads Avalon massage spa. I wonder if Larry finally found a way to reopen with a new name. Unfortunately, no answer when I called so will wait and see.

Store behind the place was out of business. Was tempted to climb the stairs and look in the door. Had gone by Admiral earlier, funny thing is nail salons have the worst reputation for human traffickers and the chemicals are brutal.
Big win for the folks that put these places out of business.

It was done better than top-notch; he spared no expense, for those of you that never utilized it. His intention was to make it a place primarily for couples. I did have the pleasure of using it a few times, and it was fabulous. A damn crying shame it never got to be used fully, as was the upstairs.
I would hazard a guess that the Avalon Spa name (which is a franchise operation, if memory serves me; similar to Massage Envy,) is taking it over. If so, if will be strictly legit.

Its not like any of of the girls were going to get in the jacuzzi with the customers, and think about it how many of you guys would have brought your wives or GFs there? I would love to hear you guys trying to explain how you found out about the place.

Tropical Retreat in Milford was one, and there was another in Milford, on Route 1.
I really miss Tropical Retreat and the other non-Asian parlors of the time. I like the Asians but I'd like to change my luck occasionally.

Some are very much like NMS with different rooms to play in and an open common area, could be Larry was planning a split enterprise.

She said they were just inspected and do not expect a change until about a year. So question is, as the new law / ordinance is put into place, will it be retroactive or on the renewal date of each establishment. Providence was a real quiet shut down. Closing of establishments due to licensing is a M. F 9-5 inspectional services operation. Outside of that enforcement of prostitution laws is by uncle LEO. Depends on how it's written but most likely someone will ring that little white doorbell we all love, flash an I'D, say party over shut down or we will shut you down, then the little neon lite we all love will go out for good.

Ya, I know they shut down providence quietly, without raids, but who knows what will happen in pawtucket. We're all speculating, therefore because of the uncertainty I don't feel it's as safe as it was before. Based on what I've heard, read, and what my gut feeling is, I would guess that there is less than a week or two left. Possibly even days. As a matter of fact I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the shoe dropped this Sunday morning. The city council overrode the mayor's veto on Wednesday. This hobby is toast. Have you been to the spa's lately? I went to harmony last week. You could tell the mamasam knew that gig was up. She made zero effort to hide customers from each other. I literally saw 4 other customers while I was there. That is not normal operational procedure. They know it's over.

On the way out I got a good look at the mamasam's face. She looked worried. I don't think they are correct about the rule change being in about a year. That seems like wishful thinking.
In light of the insanity, I decided to make one last pilgrimage to FE before the sun sets on our little state. I managed to get a lineup and there were like 8 girls available. I haven't seen that since DT was at custom house. I picked Lucky and she as absolutely fantastic. I am sad I won't be able to see her again.
An interesting note is that at some point during the session, something spooked them and I had to be covered for a few minutes while she left the room. Everything was back to normal shortly after.

Simple, it's NEVER been illegal to get a massage. It's never been illegal to go to a spa. It's still not. So, it's just as safe (legally) as it's ever been.
If you are engaging in illegal activities, whatever it is hasn't suddenly become illegal because no new laws were passed. There's no new illegality or category of activity which is illegal, so you aren't doing anything more illegal now than if you did the same activity a month or two ago.
The new city rules or ordinances proscribe what spas can do and can't do, but these rules are aimed at SPAS and people who work at spas NOT at customers of spas. If a spa isn't following the rules then it's a regulation compliance issue, NOT a legal issue, not an issue for law enforcement.
Yes it's just a guess, but given that Pawtucket is following providence and cranston's playbook, there's absolutely no reason to think they are going to do something high profile like raid a spa (which would require a sting to gather evidence to get a search warrant) other than paranoia, but that could have happened at ANY time you go to a spa.
I don't argue that the spas in PAtwucket will probably be closing in the very near future, but regardless of whether they are about to close or not, or even if police raid a spa, legally, it's as safe as it has ever been to get a massage.

Main Therapy closed for good based on what was said in that visit, Pleasant closed for a couple days then reopened (but was not the same as before) and the others continued as if nothing had happened. That's why I suspect it will be Pawtucket Police at the head of the spear, as well as doing what they can to intimidate potential customers.

I don't disagree that police can (and maybe will) be used to spread the news as a way of intimidating the spas (and customers), my comments were largely in response to a few people here who seemed to be claiming a raid was an all but certainty so it wasn't 'safe' to go to spas anymore.
So not disputeing your point that police might be spreading the news, just pointing out there is big difference between police talking to a business owner about new city licensing regulations and police bursting in arresting staff and customers alike (a raid) and charging people with crimes.

The bottom line is the writing is on the wall, the AMPs will close, but the hobby will go on in a slightly different mode. The players will learn to adapt. I'm guessing Apartment AMPS will be more commonplace.

Now, there's always been that chance. But with all these high profile laws and ordinances, especially with spa closings getting attention, why risk it? Just to tell a reporter, a judge, your boss, your SO, your family, your friends that you weren't doing anything illegal. You were just at a spa under suspicion for solicitation. That's too much a risk for me.
I stopped in at Harmony last Monday about 1030 am it was like a supermarket before a snow storm, girls running around, no attempt by momasan to hide guys from each other, I was lucky to draw Jackie 30's spinner, off to table shower was rushed but good quick sauna on my way back to the room mamasan says something in Korean and I get the switch, Jackie has a appt why have her start me if she can't finish, I then draw a old Korean woman who I have seen before here, average massage and rushed finish. 60/140 I feel this is ending very very soon by the attitude of mamasan and the girls, a shame where do we go now?

Once these "spas" started to spread and pop up in neighborhoods and started drawing all sorts of traffic and strange people showing up, people started complaining. Of course LE steps in. No, I wouldn't want to be engaging in an illegal activity when police raided someplace I was at, but practically, it would be prety hard for them to catch someone in the act of breakiung the law. Spa workers would be inviolation of clothing ordinances and rules to keep customers covered, but the ordinances are for the business not the customer.
But if you think Pawtucket is going to break from the playbook every other city in RI has used to close spas and go for some big flashy raid than it makes sense for you to not go to a spa.
I don't think that's likely to happen so it's not something I am worryingi about. I went to a spa over the weekend, and had a good massage. No LE or camera crews to be seen.
But I am not telling anyone else what to do, everyone should always do what they feel they need to do to stay safe.
Over the years, lots of folks had made pro / con arguments as to what can happen, what to do, your rights etc etc. But here's an example of how long this stuff can linger in your life. No matter how patient your job, wife, friends are, three years is a long time.
